Maybe she is Mara Jade and she becomes Phasma ... just a shot against the wall, they could die G.C's hair if she was ever to take the helmet off . . . would also explain why she let the shields down so easily.

 

And she could also not age in nearly 40 years and grow a foot or so .

 

Since she has been on her own since 15 years old maybe she is on a revenge mission against the admiral seen in the trailer , may at a lower rank he attacked a village like Kylo did against Poe, he then killed her parents after they hid her.

 

I like that. I would be willing to bet their is some tragedy inspired by the Empire that helps drive her.

Some trivia: Just realised Felicity did a Jane Austen movie some years ago:

So she and Keira Knightley have both be part of a Austen movie and Star Wrs (though we know Keira's role was sort of small and she was relatively unknown by that time).

 

Felicity was in the movie Albatross with Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey). I enjoyed that one despite other people's reviews. I liked Fish Tank with Katie Jarvis, who was mentioned once upon a time in connection to Episode VII. Maybe I just like young woman delinquent/rebel movies.

 

That's the one thing about this franchise, tragedy seems to appear in each movie for one or two characters, but hey that's war for you.

Apparently even Kiera Knightley's own mother couldn't tell her apart from Natalie Portman lol .

 

I think they'd rather people talk about Jyn's background than having seeing people using that character only in the context of Rey and the sequel trilogy. Because if the rumors are true, it's pretty substantial. There were many writers on the script so we'll what remained in post-production later in the year.

 

I still think there needs to be SOME sort of deeper connection than tying it in directly to ANH or it will be similar to "The Incredible Hulk (2008)" where it's canon and a part of the universe and develops things further but doesn't really impact anything .
