Yeah, unfortunately, they slighted her big time with the merchandise for The Force Awakens. The Black Series 3.75" Leia was weak, and they should've used her general outfit from the majority of the film, rather than the "baboon ass" hair, as Carrie called it.

Now we're getting a 6" figure with the general outfit, which is irritating because we should've gotten it in 3.75" form, too. I really hope we get a 6" figure of Leia in her outfit from The Last Jedi. I personally like it so much better than the one in The Force Awakens. She looks gorgeous.

I agree, Carrie's costumes in The Last Jedi are phenomenal and a vast improvement over the ones in The Force Awakens.

I actually had a huge problem with most of the costumes in The Force Awakens, but Leia's were the most jarring. I don't mind the Gas Station Attendant one so much (though I wish they'd kept the ponytail), but Baboon Ass was such a misfire. It looked like it was from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

LMAO, "gas station attendant" is such an accurate description of the outfit she wears for the majority of the film! :) I didn't mind that one so much, and I actually thought that one was a bit similar to her outfit during the Battle of Endor (without the camouflage poncho). But I don't understand what the purpose of them digitally editing the ponytail out was....

That being said, the "baboon ass" hair was just flat out bad. The cinnamon bun hair is iconic, at least, and Carrie made fun of that one in a good way, but even she was kind of like, "WTF" with the "baboon ass" hair. It was almost as bad as some of the Queen Amidala hairstyles....

At least she looks AMAZING in The Last Jedi. I really love the gray dress she wears. (She has two different outfits that we know of, right? The gray dress and the brown one?)

    She would've been 61 today.

Kylo blows up Leia, then he loses it completely.

    Hello

Which figures are these. Luke's cape almost looks like the 3.75 black series and I didn't know they had a Leia figure yet by Hasbro :)

They are all 6-inch Black Series, Leia is in the 2nd TLJ wave.

In case anyone is interested in the new 3.75" Leia figure, keep watching Hasbro's website. They removed the figure over the weekend, but just added it back with a note that says, "Coming Soon...." I ordered the rest of the figures in the wave; unfortunately, Leia was the only one not available, so I'm hoping they get her in stock soon. You can check it out here.

No problem! I've been waiting for this figure for a long time, so I was super disappointed to discover she's the only one I wasn't able to order. Hopefully they get more in stock soon!

Maybe she has too many spoilers to reveal right now other than a impressive outfit, she's royal after all.

Yep she was destined for that. You can see why Mark got the No!!! reaction when he expected to jump on the royalty band wagon, she quickly kicked him off.

Thanks. I know she will be a 3.75 in grey gown second wave Hasbro and also a 6 inch elite metal from the Disney store coming soon.

I haven't heard anything about a 6" Elite figure. Are there pictures of it yet?

It would be nice to get something like that (or a 6" Black Series figure) of her in her gray outfit from The Last Jedi.

Also, someone pointed out something in another thread that I thought was interesting:

Billie Lourd, Lieutenant Connix actress: (18:27) “On this film, on [Episode] VIII, [my mother Carrie Fisher and I] kind of got more into the swing of things [after working together on The Force Awakens] and we’re having a really good time together and it’s like it’ll probably never happen again unless she gets on Scream Queens.” (December 18, 2016 - this was a week before Fisher's death, suggesting that Leia and Connix wouldn't be together again in IX)

Now, this does not, by any means, mean anything about the future of Leia, but I've said from the beginning that I wouldn't be surprised to see that Mark and Kathleen weren't being completely honest about Leia's fate in this film. Obviously, they've said that she was supposed to be at the forefront of IX, which would make sense, but I also would not at all be surprised to see Leia die in this film. I could see it going either way, although it is worth noting that we're supposedly getting closure to her character arc in this film. I don't see how that's possible if she's still alive at the end of the film. At this point, I want her to die in a brave, Leia-esque way (or a peaceful way, where she just goes to sleep or something), just because I need closure. With Carrie gone, it's essentially like Leia has already passed, too. Dragging it out into IX will just prolong the healing process for many fans.
