Great interview by Oscar & sad that we didn't get more about Gary's scene.

Poe was fun when he was on screen, so I hope he has alot more screentime and even more fun to his character.

redeem (since everyone seems to want it) Laura Dern's character who is "allegedly" at odds with Leia. And let her and Oscar share that duty so neither one has to try and replace Fisher in that regard alone...

 

Laura Dern can deliver. I have faith given Rian's history and her ability.

If not, bring in Amy Adams as someone who worked with Leia to take her role in 9

 

She never had that role... what a shame.

 

I know there's been a lot of talk about Finn being Force-sensitive. But the one - aside from Rey, of course - who seems to show the most Force potential in TFA is Poe IMO. His instincts with what to do with the map on Jakku and the way he flies. It seems to be all instinct to me. He shows more potential Force abilities than Finn IMO.

 

Then why didn't he do the same thing that Rey did, when interrogated by Kylo Ren?

He's worked with Leia so often, why hasn't she told him he's force sensitive?

You're going to answer these questions if you want poe to be force sensitive.

 

omg, if Poe is force sensitive and Finn isn't the Finn haters will have a nuclear meltdown

 

I'm kind of surprised Oscar doesn't get asked a little more about Poe being force sensitive..

 

Because people aren't absolutely obsessed with him being force sensitive

he's not considered a part of the "big three" compared to adam driver, daisy, and john.

 

Then I suspect some people will get disappointed.

But what I find odd, is that some people do that because they want Kylo as a main character.
But... wasn't Vader (the villain) a main character? You know: 3 heroes + 1 villain, 4 main charcters.

That said

I'm not on the camp he's a force sensitive for sure, but:

1- Rey is not an ususal force wielder. That's the point.
The weird thing is that she's capable - without any training - to do what she does.
Not that Poe (force sensitive or not) desn't.
2- The argument for those that are reading Poe's Comics and/or other stuff is indeed that there's something going on this matter.

 

vader was, i think THE main character if you think about it...but with Poe, he is simply the one who is supporting the main charcters to get them to their arcs

Agree about Vader. So much so I was about to write the same thing.
Don't agree about Poe. If we talk about TFA, that's because I read the movie in a very specifc way.

If we talk about everything that is coming from Lucas Film and Disney (from merchandising to interviews)
I'm afraid he's for sure one of the big three. And maybe my read of TFA has a sense.
