I apologize for the bad joke. I just think the crux of your thesis is stupid. You can really tell from that 1 second of footage that Rey doesn't get injured at any point? What if she picks up the saber and then gets injured -- like that concept art of her being force choked?

The guy still has 100% accuracy until one of his posts is proven false, which none have yet. And just because he didn't mention Finn's injury is not proof he's wrong. He was posting in the Rey thread on theforce.net and clearly got spooked or something and stopped. I'm sure there's a lot more he could have said.

 

Let's be civil. Even though he was posting in a Rey thread he was describing the scene. I guess something as important as Finn getting injured just slipped his mind. Also I believe he stated it as Rey getting injured and Finn coming in to fend off Kylo. The scene we have seen of an emotional Rey leaning over a downed Finn does not fit that narrative so my thesis is not as stupid as you claim. I have serious question for you. You mention his comment about him saying that Kylo captures Rey. I vaguely remember it and if I remember correctly he was placing it in the context to the dual in what we now know is the forest on Starkiller. Or was he just mentioning it happening? As we have seen, Rey is captured but it is on Takodana

 

^^ It's entirely possible jimjam only saw part of the scene not how it ended. If he was only present on set for a day of filming then for sure he wouldn't have seen the whole thing because I know from experience it can take several days to shoot stunt heavy sequences. I was an extra on the Cap 3 set earlier this summer and the scene I was in took 8 hours to film and it was dialogue only, no stunt work at all lol, and will probably make up about 2 minutes in the film itself. Fight scenes like the final Kylo, Finn, Rey duel could not have been filmed in one day.

Idk what the circumstances were that allowed that guy to see this scene, whether he was on set or watching dailies in an editing room, but it's more likely than not that he would not have seen the scene in its entirety. If he's 100% legit it probably means that at some point in the Starkiller woods, Kylo knocks Rey out of the fight temporarily and/or attempts to recapture her, both perfectly plausible things.

 

Okay. I reread all 14 of his posts.

So, for him to be correct, Rey has to get injured (rendered unconscious) at the beginning of the battle -- before Finn duels Kylo. This is entirely plausible.

As for the Rey being captured quote, that's something I've debated with others about before. And the answer is that we just don't know. My guess is that Rey probably does get recaptured after Finn is beaten. That might be when Luke enters, unless you're an MSW guy. But, he could have just meant earlier in the film. We simply don't know 'cause he stopped posting 12 months ago.

 

I can buy that. Sounds very reasonable. I don't think he is lying or spilling BS like some people on forums do. I just don't think it looks like he is 100% correct like it was claimed.

 

I think he is the real deal, too. He only posted a few times, people were rude and he left. Did not seem to be the kind of guy that wants to do it just to draw attention to himself. I don't know if his interpretation of what he saw is correct, but it doesn't seem like he's a liar.

His not having predicted some things doesn't cast the rest of it in doubt.

Rey, the loner on a desert planet without her family, the whole premise of the film seems to be search for Luke, when really I think it is more a search for Rey's family, Rey's father, Luke Skywalker. 100% convinced.

 

That's the part where his description get very if

It's clear Rey is captured in that scene were Kylo have the saber to her neck, i don't think she will be captured twice, writing wise would be weird for a lack of a better word, and the forest scene takes place probable middle of the movie or earlier.

I think he might have saw some of the scenes, but his inability to put a context on them make me wonder how much he saw, and the level of inside knowledge he have.

So far MSW have leap and bound being confirmed over him.

 

I don't know if this has been discussed, but you know how Mark Hamill recently said: "I’m old enough to be Luke’s grandfather now." ?

Luke and Rey are of similar age in ANH and TFA. I feel like this is the final nail in the coffin for speculation that she is Luke's daughter. (Or Leia's).

 

Technically, what he said isn`t even true and shouldn`t be taken at face value.
Also, the Rey is a Solo/Skywalker theory was at the "nails in coffin" stage the whole time? Wow...
Which theory is considered the most likely then?

 

Well then I guess Luke/Han is Rey's grandfather.

Either way you are going to have to come to terms that Rey is indeed a Solo/Skywalker.

I suggest you stop denying and start embracing.

 

Fisher has cracked jokes about granny Leia in recent years. I wouldn't read too much into it. She's also made jokes about Leia having children with characters other than Han Solo.

Ridley's father in real life is like the same age as Harrison Ford.

 

I was going to say Chris, daisy's dad is the same age as ford.

 

Here is Blue here to reiterate his prediction of the climactic battle

1. Kylo chasing after Rey and Finn

2. Finn fights Kylo

3. Finn loses against Kylo

4. Rey accepts her destiny and fights Kylo

5. Stuff happens

6. Blue gets angry and throws popcorn because JJ wasted a perfect opportunity to do other stuff

7. We all go home and enjoy the film

 

I think you're pretty much spot on here. (But why do you still have popcorn at this point in the film? That stuff's for eating during the trailers before the movie starts, don't you know? ; ) )

I know are probably joking but some genuinely think this could happen.
