It seems that TFA will keep tradition of unusual female hairstyles from EP 1-6.

Rey have some pretty cool unusual hairstyle there.

 

Yeah, it's a possibility. I suppose the loops could be there to hold *anything* and it just so happens they are also handy for a saber. Personally, I'm not convinced the jacket is Poe's.
The conundrum is, I suppose, that there are two people and three sets of clothes involved. Finn is in "his envronment" and Poe is not, so Finn is more likely to have civilian clothes at hand. Poe's X-Wing, so we are told, is torched and then he is captured.

Another option, and there are many, is that Poe is not in his flight suit at the start of the movie, he is in the clothes Finn ends up wearing. Perhaps Poe puts on a Trooper uniform (Finn might be able to provide one) as part of their bid to steal a TIE and escape while back on the Star Destroyer. It would certainly help.
So then Poe and Finn both end up on the planet wearing trooper uniforms and Finn takes what were Poe's clothes originally...

I've already mentioned another possibility is that the tan outfit Finn eventually changes into is some kind of prison uniform intended for Poe but never worn by him because Finn decides to escape when he is sent to make Poe change into it, and they take it with them because it may come in handy, given what they are currently wearing...

Involving Finn wearing that second outfit it may have been worn under the stormtrooper outfit.

 

I don't think sabers are a real common occurrence in the galaxy at this point and time. The odds of Poe having one are pretty low imho.

 

You never know, he may keep stashed next to a blaster in the xwing cockpit.

 

How do they have a "what a piece of junk" moment went they're running from a tie fighter onto the already downed landing door?

and the trailer... You wouldn't run to a ship you didn't know!

 

You know - I get it - it makes perfect sense that a vessel parked somewhere would be, not only locked, but not even have the boarding ramp extended at all.
Yet there are Finn and Rey running towards the Falcon with its ramp invitingly open.

But then, the real point is - when have we not seen the Falcon that way? When has anyone ever approached the Falcon, pressed some kind of button, watched the ramp descend and then got onboard? I'm not sure I've even seen that happen in a comic or novel in all these years. (I'm sure someone can find an example, but that's not really my point). You know, it's sat on the Death Star all the time our heroes are onboard the station, with the ramp down. It's sat in the Rebel base on Hoth, with the ramp down. It's sat on Bespin all that time our heroes are there, with the ramp down. Does that door ever get closed?
In fact - get this - the darn thing takes off from Tatooine, evades a couple of Star Destroyers, jumps to lightspeed, is heading straight towards the Death Star, gets caught in a tractor beam, makes a perfect landing with it's landing gear correctly deployed and, moments later, the ramp is invitingly extended ready for a scanning crew who are convinced the crew abandoned ship right after take off, despite all of the above!

I mean, seriously, how do you access the Falcon from the outside? A key? A switch? A remote control? Does Han get on Chewie's shoulders?
And, again, don't answer that - I don't care what the answer is - it's a rhetorical question, regarding what we have actually seen happen onscreen in Star Wars movies.

I acknowledge the perceived "problem" with our heroes running towards a vessel with its ramp already down.
But, at this stage I'd still wager that the ramp is "just down for X reason", over "Han lands and rescues them".

 

About Finn and the lightsabre, wasn't there speculation that Finn is attracted to it and Rey is revolted by it? Maybe Rey doesn't want anything to do with it until she absolutely has to. Finn, on the other hand, has no qualms about using it.

 

Well if the Falcon in the Trailer is in the same location it is in the concept art then perhaps the originally tried to steal the ship that would be behind and to the right of the explosion behind them.

 

Why would Han rescue them unless he knew Rey already because she's his daughter.

 

Or Poe signaled the general.

 

The more I watch the trailer the more I think Rey could be Luke's daughter. Not that she IS. But that she could be.

 

At this point Rey could be anyone's kid. I think there's a chance she could be Luke's (But I'm also one of the few who wants her to be). Who knows, maybe the 'mind blowing reveal' Harry Knowles talked about in his article (If he's telling the truth) has something to do with her true parentage, and it's not what we think.

Then again, maybe she's Rey Palpatine.
