    I like PZ-4C0's colour palette. I agree that the design is a little odd, but I'm not going to count the design out just yet. Seeing a character as a Toy is one thing, seeing them in action on the big screen is another. I must admit that there is a part of me that wants to shrink the neck down so it's in proportion with the rest of body, but I guess asymmetrical design is the big thing now.

    I had a day dream this morning about the new TFA character PZ-4CO as a possible droid love interest for C-3PO. As in the OT where Lucas humourously humanised the beloved droid duo in a love/hate/indifferent relationship maybe we shall see a different relationship blossom between PZ and PO.

    PZ looks quite imposing compared with PO being quite tall and robust. C-3PO has always been the very camp damsel in distress and I can see PZ coming to his rescue carrying him in her arms to safety.

    I'm not suggesting a full blown romantic love affair between the two, I think that would be silly. If it was done in a subtle sweet way I think it could work well and could be an interesting development into the nature of AI in the star wars universe.

    He doesn't get much love in the saga. Everyone tells him to shut up all the time, he gets pulled apart and tossed aside. I know he is the comic relief in the movies but it would be nice to see someone or thing do something nice for him for a change. He still remains one of my most beloved characters.

    Just noticed this PZ-4CO and can't really say that the droids I've seen thus far are the droids I'd been looking for(ward to).

    All the OT 'cyborgs' had a "face" with some kind of personality ranging from human (C-3PO, 2-1B) to insectoid (Death Star droid, 4-LOM, EV-9D9) but anything than blank.

    PZ-4CO reminds me a lot of the last droids seen in Episode III during the birth of Luke and Leia which I found unimpressive and forgettable, because neither face featured some kind of personality.

    Am I the only one who thinks PZ-4c0 looks kinda creepy? Like I keep imaging the Omen theme playing in the background whenever I see it. :p

    I really like this Droid. I can understand how people can't understand as to why 3P0 isn't her personal protocol Droid. I will assume that he is retired and possibly the fact that she may view him as more of a friend. Or, that Droid is just an informational Droid and does something basic for her. Either or, I really like this new Droid..... Something different....like the droidd in the dungeon in ROTJ...

    You are not. With the distinctive "faces" of the 'cyborgs' in the OT we got at least a vague idea what the purpose of these droids might have been, because it was "written" in their faces, like aforementioned dungeon droid EV-9D9 in ROJ.

    With a blank 'face' like PZ-4CO it becomes practically impossible to read what might be going on in that A.I.'s mind, IMHO. And the female Threepio's 'face' is covered by some kind of apparatus (maybe she's Dominatrix, a relative of Dot Matrix from Spaceballs)

    I disagree. I think with the toy alone you can get expressions like curiosity and joy. I just searched google for these pics.
    It also comes down to the performer and the voice in the end. I can imagine an old librarian type with the hunched over look.
