    Balance of the Force is not about ratios of Dark and Light Side users. It never was. Otherwise, the Rule of Two would have put the Galaxy in jeopardy hundreds of years before the events of The Phantom Menace, which we know is absolutely not the case based on this iteration of the Republic being in a state of peace for most of its thousand-year existence.

    It was all about removing what was objectively a cancerous influence on the Force from the Galaxy, which is what Palpatine was - not explicitly the Dark Side, which is something that clearly is going to exist no matter who's running things, but a tyrant who planned to suppress the Force and violate the laws of nature with things like the Death Star.

    Notice how the Jedi Order basically had no problem with Dark Side users like the Nightsisters existing as long as they kept to themselves - and the one conflict between the Nightsisters and the Jedi only happened when the Nightsisters tried to expand their influence off-planet. There's a reason for that.

    And if we took the whole "ratio" thing at face value, then the Force would have been in balance with Luke and Snoke both existing. But that clearly wasn't the case, because that would require the two of them to be the only Force-users in a Galaxy of trillions (when the Force itself is something that is cosmically tied to the creation of the GFFA, and as such is incredibly implausible).

    I don't mean to come across as rude with this, it's just I get a bit sick of this misconception about what the Balance of the Force is having legs so many years after Revenge of the Sith.

    It could morph into some new and even fun but always lack the magic of the original cause the underlying philosophy of the uh niverse changes.

    I like these descriptions and they don't seem to be that unlikely. Especially the one with a younger Luke. I think I was one of the first here who pointed out that Luke looks slightly younger in that Celebration image.

    I find it strange that he or she'd choose to release their leaks on a subreddit, with no compensation, under a new username and with no indication of how they came across the leaks in the first place.


    When I say strange I mean that its most likely bullshite but I'm not willing to dismiss it entirely.

    The way the forcebacks in that post are structured makes them obvious fakes. Both Luke and Kylo's visions are purely for the audience's benefit and would do nothing to move the plot forward, which goes against the saga's style of linear storytelling.

    So according to this guy on Reddit "who works in the industry and has seen the movie":

    First word of Luke "No."

    Intro: Falcon jumps to hyperspace like the last scene of The Force Awakens. Star Destroyers come out of hyperspace in the same sequence and attack the Resistance. Falcon is leaving D'qar in opening scene, not arriving. Think of the scene when it jumps to hyperspace at the end of TFA. Instead of following it, we stay fixed on space and the First Order arrives

    Easter eggs ? I'd have to rewatch. There's a lot going on in this movie. It's not as empty as The Force Awakens.

    Humor: That's tough. There are a lot of funny moments in the first half of this movie. Not too many in the second part though. The hardest I laughed is when Finn, doing his best James Bond impersonation, wins a ton of money at a gambling table and wants to cash in his "chips" but Rose won't let him because they have a mission. Boyega's protests are hysterical.

    Most jaw dropping is by far when you find out how powerful Luke has become.

    Rey's parents ? I do not want this in public but I will pm you if you really want to know, though I would say you should experience that in the theater. But I'll tell you if you want to know. I was pretty surprised. I thought she'd be Luke's daughter.

    Their interactions (Kylo and Rey) ? Hahaha, oh man. They fight. They kiss. And by movie's end they are determined to rule the galaxy together.

    Kylo good at the end ? I wish there was a clear cut answer, but this movie really blurs the line between "good" and "evil". I will say this though: Kylo Ren's monologue at the end of the film... I'd vote for him as president. It's about a war torn galaxy and how in the end only the people with money came out of the previous conflict unscathed because they didn't care what side was winning. That that needs to end. That Snoke and Luke, all they care about is "Order" but that what will really make the galaxy flourish and finally find peace is freedom. It's the last scene of the film. The very last one. Kylo holds Rey in his arms and as he talks the film shows the aftermath of other sequences in the film. They're a couple. It shows aftermath on both sides. Wounded Resistance. Wounded First Order. Luke is not present in the last third of the film. Kylo is speaking to Rey. The romance Kylo-Rey is the LAST scene of the movie. So I wouldn't call that central.

    Phasma doesn't die.

    Where is Luke at the end ? That... is a really, really big reveal.

    Luke use a lightsaber ? Yes

    Is Leia's story wrapped up? Yes.

    Snoke - fight or display of powers or regenerating? No.No.Uhhh no.

    Is the end of TLJ taking place at Snoke's Supremacy? No. Does he display some power and if he does when or on what character(s)? No.

    I think that's just a screenshot of the movie because Mark is made up for the camera and the actual camera that is used plays an effect in how he looks.
