Rogue One reshoot?

Sorry, I was actually being sarcastic. Was putting that out there in response to those who claimed Disney paid critics to pan BvS in their reviews.

Not using Plagueis in the ST Remembering the reshoots for ROTS has curbed crushed my enthusiasm.

First modern SW flick I won't be spoiled on. Besides knowing about many dead Bothans.

Thanks for clearing that up, now I know not to give much legitimacy to his post that you just shared.

 

They finally realized Gareth Edwards was a bland choice, no charisma to his style.. no fun. Just big "epic" imagery and a depressing tone, it's gonna stink guys. Go watch the original trilogy to see anything decent about this movie done better.

The trailer music makes me yawn my jaw off, Forest Whitaker has been told to over-act until his heart explodes and the filming just generally looks really unimaginative..

Oh and let's have a another white British female lead who can kick ass straight out of the gate.... sweet mother of Yoda I don't like where things are going outside the new sequel trilogy. I watch the trailer for Rogue One every time I need a nap. Deliver us from mediocrity Sensei Rian Johnson

 

They should reshoot the film with a male lead.

Because most fans are disgusted at Disney for using Star Wars as a platform to advance third wave Feminism.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, it's a certainty that Rogue One will tank at the box-office.

Episode 8 will follow suit, and will drastically under-perform TFA.

I was shouted down by fanboys when I criticized Kathleen Kennedy for picking this director, screenwriter(s) and choosing a flimsy story by John Knoll (of all people)... hah..

 

A new report suggests that Disney executives have requested more Jar Jar.

 

Deadline now says the report of a test screening was false.

The sense that I'm getting from this whole thing is that people are just saying crap to feel special, and that they (and, by extent, we) don't actually know what the reality is. Maybe Disney really is tweaking stuff. Yes, it could be a sign that the project isn't going well- but it could also be the action of a studio that has a lot riding on this project, and they want to stick the landing. We won't know whether it's good or bad until we actually see it, and even then, some people are going to like it and some people are going to dislike it for various reasons, whether it be because of cinematography, writing, actors, or what have you.

As Master Yoda would say, fear is the path to the Dark Side. Before we all start despairing, let's just wait and see what comes out of this.

This is curious. Wasn't a "war movie" exactly what they've been telling us this was going to be like? Perhaps Disney isn't as comfortable with LucasFilm shifting the tone.

 

Ugh, if they are changing the mood from a "war movie" to a "light hearted" film, I'll be severely disappointed, I mean I'd still go see it since it is a Star Wars film after all, but I was really looking forward to a war-like movie, after all it is Star WARS after all.

Sounds like Disney is scared to go "outside-the-box" for Rogue One, I was kind of afraid this would happen. Although, I think it's best to wait for now.

 

Yeah so that doesn't mean it's in trouble...
