It definitely could get confusing. That's my one concern as well. But I would personally love to read about the Old Republic more.

I’m actually doing a video series on Legend material. It's on the history of the Sith as it’s my favourite topic. It’s a shame none of the Old Republic stuff about the Sith is still Canon though. Anyway, I wanted to put it in video format for fun and for anyone who is interested.

I am all in for keeping the Lore of the old Republic. The comics who revolve around the Great Hyperspace War and Naga Sadow, Freedon Nadd and the Beast Wars on Onderon, Exar Kun and the Great Sith War and most important the events of the Jedi Civil War revolving around Revan and also the events who revolved around Darth Sion, Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya.

Though there is a possibility that Disney may want to re-tell (reboot) these events and others in their own way.
    Which could be pretty awesome…
    Until we come to Kreia.
Obsidian created with “Knight of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords” one of the most unique Star Wars video games of all time, one that questioned a lot of stuff about Star Wars, especially the Jedi, Sith and the force in general. I haven’t encountered a good rebuttal to Kreia’s ideas on the force right now.
Disney may attempt this rebuttal of Kreia’s ideas…. Yet, I fear if the Disney company under the current leadership may try to tell the rather intricate motives of Kreia in a more simplified way. They could turn her her into a simple villain or even somebody who gets swayed away from her wish to destroy the force way to easily.

P.S.: I want to apologize or double posting, my connection is pretty bad at the Moment.
