Why are they saying this? Why are they building up such incomprehensibly huge amount of hype for something which they should know cannot be accomplished for everyone? When someone for example tells me "Watch this funny video, you're gonna think its the funniest blast you've ever seen!" I instantly get this sense of anticlimax. If a video is funny, I will find out myself, if someone tells me that its gonna be the funniest video I've ever seen, I will feel like I'm being forced to think something is funny.

 

Judging it from its psychological complexity, this chart is made for 6-year-olds.
Or by 6-year-olds.

 

I dunno, man. If I was going to watch the second movie in a franchise that isn't very well known where I am, isn't in my language and about weird space-wizards, I think I'd need an infograph as well.

 

But please note...

They would not advertise love relationship if it is love relationship.

"Its shock that rivals all shock"... and looking from perspective of them, brother and sister will be shock, not Reylo.

 

They can write about many things in the novels, comics, etc. But it's what's being shown in the films that counts, and that's how these characters will be and should be judged.

Unless they develop a mini-series set between TFA and TLJ, at the D'Qar base with Poe and Rey as the main characters. The whole series consists of the two of them sitting around Finn and talking.

Another "I am your brother", or I am your father(Luke) will be shock that rivals all shocks for them, and makes all their anticipations wrong, not ReyLo which for them is very much expected, and they are going to movie to see kissiskiss(like many in here to ....)..only to get...unexpected.

Paradoxically... they are gona see unexpected plot originating basically from old Kurosava's "Fortress " ....

While steamy love may be in fact a mysterious act for a teenagers,so I left this as possibility as real for younger audiences, , a better teacher as a meaning of ? can be discarded securely.

 

? Is because in fact Rey is Anakin 's reincartion who came back because his ghost self knew his grand son was going to be messy and he came back to fix thing.

The grand shocking revelation will be Rey saying " Ben i'm your grand father , stop it"

of course there will be previously the second Rey's awakening, when she will learn she is Anakin . LOL Thanks snoke for that.

And both Ben, snoke will try to concince Rey anakin to be darth vader again. They have a female version of the custume ready.

and at the end the shocking plot coming, when rey appears like that. Because she agreed that darth vader was right after all.

And Reylo can still happen because they are not blood related. lol

 

It's clickbait-marketing for a movie.

 

Either the region exaggerates in their marketing or I found a HUGE spoiler about Kylo Ren's lightsaber.

Things like that turn me off. It sounds like they are depending on a gimmick instead of an actual good story.

 

Yeah. How can I relate to privileged people born with silver spoons in their mouths compared to the stormtroopers who were kidnapped at birth? Like in the real world. The parents of the stormtroopers are ignored, and not one conversation about their missing children. That sounds like some of the kids that have been taken in America or other parts of the world. No one knows how many are missing, and no one seems to care.

 

They're just taking liberties and massive speculations to new heights.

To me, all this hyperbole just suggests desperation on the part of the ones writing the ad copy. And, that LFL isn't investing the kind of money on advertising in Korea that would get them the best marketing talent. I live in Seoul, and Star Wars isn't very popular here. LFL and Disney made a big marketing push for TFA, and it fell pretty flat. R1 did even worse than TFA.

I've seen no advertising here for TLJ: I've yet to see a single ad of any kind for it (except, of course, the ones that @McDiarmid has posted on these forums). Not even in movie theaters. This is in contrast to TFA, the ads for which were everywhere, including massive billboards on the sides of skyscrapers, ads on the side of every other bus, etc. And, it's in contrast to Marvel movies (which are massively popular here), and, funnily enough, to the other Daisy Ridley movie that is out this season, "Murder on the Orient Express", which is expected to be a big hit here...

 

If we take that chart at face value and accept the conclusions that can be drawn from them;

Rey is 'random'
ReyLo is a distinct possibility
Rey fills the gap between the light and the dark
Snokes main enemy is Leia
And kylos redemption is going to play a part

This leaves us with an interesting question, just what is the 'shock'?. Most of the above would be a shock to the GA. A lot of those potential plot points go against what would usually be expected for a star wars movie, they go against a lot of typical tropes.

So what is the shock if not what is written above?

I understand that the chart should be taken with a pinch of salt and I'm not reading more into it than it being a PR stunt.

However hypothetically it does raise an interesting question that leaves place for something that we haven't maybe thought of yet. Which would be amazing.

 

don't take this too seriously. Because it's not accurate. if someone who doesn't know star wars and didn't see TFA, and trust this shema to know all about the relationships btw characters in order to catch up, there are important things that are missing.

They didn't link Luke with Leia and Luke with Kylo ren! and they are all link by family ties! they just forgot to mention it. Like it's irrevelant . LOL

this is not serious . It 's just the way korean marketing does and it wasn't even made seriously.
They guy who made that " map " probably didn't know what will happen to rey and kylo so he wrote ? lol simple as that.
