    I have nothing better to do in December, too cold where I'm from. It's either open presents, sit around and drink with my dad, or go see SW five times in the theatres.

    Could be good news, could also be really bad news. i dont like the idea of Disney forcing RJ to rewrite. i trust his abilities as a writer and unfortunately when you add more or take away its possible that it will hurt the presentation. just hope RJ can make the corporate demands work. For instance, if Disney required more Rey-Finn dynamics and RJ initially had Finn & Rey seperate for much of the film, well now youre film becomes quite different. i dont like knowing the ST might be shaped by the fans moreso than it should be. i feel its important to adhere to the vision. it all depends on what changes Disney required but cant say this doesnt worry me. im sure we will learn of the details soon enough.

    I think this decision was purely made on how successful this December release was. I'm sure Rian doesn't mind more time, and perhaps he was pushing for it. However, I'm pretty sure this movie will make 20-30% more than had it been released in May with all the other competition.
