Teaser trailer or full trailer, when and where?

I've been saying that for a whole time that they could've made Jakku a jungle planet.. I know they wanted something familiar to interact with people, but that would've been cool.. Imagine the chase in a jungle environment !

 

So it seems shareholders some days ago got to view some brief footage from rogue one.

Couple of problems I have with it is..
1.It reads BvS on it meaning it might pop a trailer with BvS movie?

2.It doesn't really fit the description from this...
Most of it was very quick. A shot of the black stormtrooper, possible (sic) called Death Troopers as previously reported, another pic of that same style of helmet and armor but all chrome, reminiscent of Captain Phasma from The Force Awakens, an image showed two AT-ATs that had a slightly different look with the door panel on the side of the body painted a lighter beige color. And a couple cast photos were shown, one of Felicity & Diego Luna and another of Donnie Yen. The clip featured Felicity’s character on what looked like the inside of a ship or shuttle with her arm up holding on and the hatch/ramp open behind her. I wish I could remember what she said as part of the sizzle but it went by too fast. The new stormtroopers looked great.

What do you guys think??? Me I think it's a fake.

Old School X-Wings, Tie Fighters, Yavin IV, Star Destroyers, glimpse of Vader..... all I ask for in a trailer

 

we already got a glimpse of a tie fighter in that teaser one flying up towards the death star.

it was a CGI hype trailer created for Celebration. As far as I can remember, I believe they said it was quickly thrown together cg that wouldn't even be in the movie. Essentially a few graphics to announce the movies existence

that's the way I remember it as well. It was not an official teaser trailer. In fact to this point we have nodda. DISNEY NEEDS to throw us a bone. Perhaps, show the general public an introduction to the characters. This is a spin-off basically so they need to start marketing the new players now. Also, I hope Disney doesn't think this is a 900 million dollar done deal. The way the marketing for this is going they will be lucky to get 1 billion WW. Start marketing DIS.

 

I totally agree. I mean, look how quiet this board is on a STAR WARS FORUM. Eerily quiet. Not a good sign. PErsonally, I am STOKED for this movie. But they need to get at least the base riled up.

 

If it has Vader, they won't need to spend a dime marketing. Show him in a trailer and it's freakin' over.

 

Even the imperial march would work as it's practically HIS theme ...

 

I personally think we get RO teaser at BvS because it links up perfectly with the tone and timing for a teaser. And since they'd certainly release it online same day, it takes thunder away from BvS. I think they release a RO teaser some time before Civil war at the latest, and it will be shown with civil war for sure.

 

Yeah, either way I think its gotta be in the next month.
