That RT user score...

Probably xD, still ...i went to read the reviews and I noticed that a lot of them were the same, but with different reviewer or there was like two or more times that people are repeating in leaving the review leaving even the same message and value

 

Wow this bs will never end with you people. You can't accept that a lot of people actually liked TLJ.

You got it all wrong mate, I liked the movie, and i can understand that people didnt like it at all, my point is that the metacritic and rotten tomattoes audience reviews are a little bit messy right now

 

That happens with positive and negative receptions. Fans brigading with negative 0s on piece of media they hate, is also pretty common post release.

 

I know, like i said i have seen this before, but with games, at least in metacritic ( xD i got confused)

In terms of todays user ratings....I can't spot one above 1 Star. They can't be all bots or whatever you call them.

Do the viewers in France count ?

 

It means that the poll is pretty representative of what many people think of the movie which emans that it is valid in that the dislike to like ratio seems indicative of how people felt about it. And as for Cinemascore being scientific I can only laugh at that. They are heavily oppinionbased. These polls are taken on opening night (so only diehard fans participate), the are taken immediately after seeing the movie (no time to process it) and the are not done anonymously which emans social pressure. If the many online polls out there aren't good enough then Cinemascore isn't either. I mendtioned multiple observations where the divisie nature of TLJ is clearly visible so what the hell do you want from me?

 

I hate that. It just mucks up real opinions.

Bots are very easy to program if there are lots of sudden 0s. Looks like spam.

I'm just gonna say two things

1. < 2000 votes
2. The reason people RUN to review movies on these sites to begin with. You will get the most polarizing reviews on sites like these where it is so easy to create multiple accounts or vote twice.


I can't overstate how hilarious it is to watch people point to these type of sites as some sort of credible source. The audacity to take <2000 votes as a SW fan majority vote..

We’ve seen this strange dichotomy before but not in such extent.

With Iron Man 3, it was a case of messing with a fan-favorite villain (The Mandarin) for the sake of a brilliant and subversive plot twist.However film was good.

With Star Trek Into Darkness, it was a darker, more militaristic Star Trek adventure that went somewhat into generic action movie mode while playing cheap-seats homage to Wrath of Khan. The film floped.

In both cases, initially solid critic reviews led to a fan-driven backlash that now, after almost 4 years tars both initially well-received installments.

Although, again, neither of those films got dumped on in the Rotten Tomatoes user review to the extent of The Last Jedi .

We will sewe how is this gona work, or not work for the Last Jedi on a long run.

 

Iron man 3 was fans angry at the twist. It was a legit good twist tho. Like what RJ did with SW.

Star Trek into darkness was pile of poop. It wasn't dark it was corny and cheesy and ripped off the original. You forget who directed it; JJ Abrams! Not like Rian and SW at all. Maybe IX will be like it. Same director.

Last Jedi is leagues ahead of them.

As I said. It's a French site, probably programmed by French people who can type just as good as you. If your an English guy doing a bot, you don't use google translate to come up with a message. Same logic here.

Having lived in France for 20 years methinks they are genuine reviews.

RT and IMDB have stacks of negative reviews with lots of content inside each post.

A lot of people think it's a bad film, (myself included). It pains me as I was really hoping to be wowed like I was with Looper.

I have not seen negative energy like this since TPM when it came out, literally the same feeling.

 

Sure there are legit people who hate it. As well as legit people who love it. I'm talking about bot spam tho.

I haven't had negative feeling. It's deff not TPM bad.
