That RT user score...

This is absolutely crazy. Read what the creator has just wrote/changed his post to... I am not a vindictive person though, so I hope they get their money back

 

Really? Jumanji is at 81% like on TR. How in the world is that film above TLJ? That is a film franchise (if you want to call it that) that ought to have remained dormant. Batman vs. Superman, a film that I thought was okay, is rated higher on RT right now than TLJ by some margin. If that's not a concerted effort by a small minority to discredit the film then I don't know what is.

 

A couple of weeks ago my son wanted to watch Batman vs Superman on Itunes. So we rented it. I really did not want to watch it. However, in the end it was quite a laugh. I enjoyed it.

I did not enjoy TLJ one bit.

Therein lies your problem.

 

It's critical v audience dissonance.

Jumanji is apparently one of those "terrible sequel ideas, but with hard work and effort is actually kinda good" films.

Yeah the review sites don't wanna admit they are being brigaded. It'd be like admitting you have large security flaws in your high tech allotment.

 

I think it’s disgusting. A combination of paid off critics and people who know nothing about Star Wars and just saw this movie as a standalone film.

Noone was paid off, a lot of people who liked TLJ liked TFA. Critics are being legit, its the USER score that’s proven to be brigaded. To be NEGATIVE. Yes, haters pathetically hating on the films.

I love Star Wars. The OT saved me from depression and I love moments of the PT that did the same. Trust me, I know about SW. More than you it seems, as such pale hatred goes against the themes of the film.

I liked TLJ. And I didn’t see it as a stand-alone SW film, but as a flawed product of Canon like all the other films.

Deal with these facts. People legitimately liked the film, and your negative hate filled cynical green goggles are only ruining life for you.

You hated it. We get it. Move on, don’t whinge like a baby.

I wanted to love the movie but for people who know Star Wars know how inconsistent and destructive it is to the movies ethos

What I meant was I’m just as much of a SW fan as you, but I’m not falling into the hatred trap of dissing other people for their opinion of TLJ.

It’s not about specific knowledge of the franchise, i was saying I had more love and respect for it as a fan. Because i realise that other people can have opposite opinions about it, than mine.

I never did, people can like the film. I for one hate it. This is a discussion forum some people will like the film some will hate it.
No problem at all, but you can’t expect everyone who hates the film to hate life lol. I love life and while I always wanted to love TLJ it’s okay hoelfily they will listen to criticism and do things better next time.

This is just f*ing nasty. You see the same thing at the IMDB. Though the IMDB has a few more mechanics in place to counter this type of vote capping, it can be easily circumvented though by just physically making as many accounts as you can and upvoting 1/10 user reviews.

Yeah I was because it’s not a 93% movie.

It’s not on par with empire. It has everything plotholes and subplots that go nowhere which are absent in the OT

Yep sums it up and being paid off doesn’t automatically mean they get money. The director is very open and friendly with critics. People can be paid off in other ways than just monetary.

 

The word/phrase plot holes, if it had a conscious would be so pissed off right now for being so misused and abused
