    5. Fantastic Beasts; because of the music, the story, the characters and the music (already said no? never mind, this music is awesome)
    4. Rogue One; it is an awesome movie! The characters are fantastic, especially Krennic, the music, the story and the shots too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, R1, 4th... but all the movies of this top were high level IMO so it was very hard to classify.
    3. Assassin's Creed; I love the saga and the story of the movie was excellent according to me. The music match very well with the situation, it enable to practice my Spanish oral comprehension and the landscapes views... amazing! <3 so why not first? well, because of the two others...
    2. Kubo and the two strings; the story, the music (!), the characters, the origamis... wonderful, really! it's so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    1. Dr. Strange; <3<3<3<3<3<3 the music, the characters, the actors, the hospital scenes, the special effects, the post generic scenes (They talked about Loki!!!)... It was according to me, really, the best movie of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Me too. Love great soundtracks which perfectly complement their stories.

    I just have seen R1 from this list and I am really interested in the others for various reasons. I will be attentive to those soundtracks. Thx!

    I loved Rogue One. It'll finish in my top ten this year but I have to give it to Sing Street from what I have seen so far. I just watched Arrival last night. What a film.

    Hacksaw Ridge. Mel really came back from the f***in grave.. and let me clarify that I'm not religious.. but Mel is a force of nature when it comes to directing. He should win the Oscar for Best Director. There were a lot of great movies that came out of 2016. Do I think Hacksaw was the best? No. However.. Mel deserves recognition for his blood, sweat and tears. Hacksaw belongs in the top FIVE greatest films of 2016.

    Rogue One is my favourite film from 2016. I still love you Deadpool, I still love you Captain America Civil War, I could skip Fantastic Beasts (being a Potterhead for a long time) and Doctor Strange but Star Wars is Star Wars!
