The full trailer. What do you want/expect to see ?

More Captain Phasma. They are going to sell her as the bad ass she should have been in TFA. I'm not saying I disliked her in TFA, but wasn't much screen time at all.

 

Darth Plagueis ( in combat nontheless )

 

- obviously I want to see AND hear Kylo
- a quick flash of the Knights of Ren/Snoke/BDT's character
- some FO action would be nice too
- a close-up shot of Leia

I agree, but I think the last shot of the trailer will be Luke igniting his green lightsaber.

 

Anything they can swindle into a full length trailer

- A ground battle involving the FO
- A little more of the space battle, maybe from a wider angle
- (Possibly, and hopefully) A new Super Star Destroyer
- A closer look at those new walkers

But I'm sure I'll love whatever we do get to see!

 

Not sure about that... I follow Rian's Twitter and most of his recent tweets about emotions vs. technique in a feature film (an interesting dispute, BTW.) There was no trailer-realted tweets. At least as far as I rememeber. I may not remember it.

 

I agree.. I looked through his Twitter account and there were no Tweets or replies about the upcoming trailer. Another interesting thing is, the screencap of the socalled Tweet has left out the date of Rian's reply.. As it stands now, i dont believe it..

 

Back on topic, I expect the full trailer to have:

a few Luke scenes
several Rey scenes
some space combat
some more Phasma
some shots and diaolouge from Laura Dern's character
a quick shot of BDT but no dialogue
the droids
Finn and KMT in action scene
Leia, short dialogue
Kylo, yelling dialouge
Ends with Rey/Kylo fight pt 2.

Does not end with Luke lightsaber, as much as I'd hope it would. Does not get narrated by Luke. Still not sure who will, but they won't repeat that. Potentially narrated by Snoke.

 

Something for people who arent just Rey Fans?

 

I don't know what I hope to see but I really hope I don't see any major plot elements or spoilerish stuff.

 

Faster and more intense?

 

I don't want to see any football before or after it's premiere if you follow me...

Assuming the first full trailer comes in July or August, I think we get a 2:45 or so trailer with a closer look at that Act I space battle, more cryptic Rey & Luke stuff, a Poe in an Xwing, maybe a look at the New At-At walkers. I don't think we get ANY Snoke (if rumors of his massive change in costume, scale, and surroundings are true---yeah he was a hologram, but the projection spot was incredibly austere and solemn, like a god throne in a temple or monastery instead of something befitting a political figure) until the "Final Trailer" in Sept/October if at all.

We'll get a little Kylo probably, possibly the KOR.

I think they won't spoil the island battle, but think the shots of KR & Rey with lightsabers from teaser are indicative of what I think they'll show of the island battle. Perhaps Luke ignites his light saber in The stinger part of the full trailer


I think we could get a hint of what the third act space battle will be... like that quick shot around the shield gate in RO.


This a really fun topic now that the teaser has been released and you can feel the momentum building towards summer and more info.

I like your point about Finn & Poe. Lots of Poe's stuff is very spoilery.

 

I want to hear some thrilling new music from H.M Sir John Williams.

 

I would like to see a mean capital ship. And of course Benicio’s character!
