i'm not sure how "clear" it is. everytime they interacted in TFA, he was either at her throat with a lightsaber or uncomfortably manipulating her mind with the force... i don't know what kind of attraction you've been exposed to, but i see no romance between them. also they're cousins

 

I'm not sure a romance is "clear," either, but I think Kylo Ren is pretty awed and apparently smitten (in his own unique way) by the end of TFA.



Rey, of course, would rather cut up his face than have anything to do with him at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens...

if Rey turns out to be his cousin, his emotional issues about his parents and Snoke will pale in comparison to how he might deep-end over Rey ~ hahaha

It's a good thought, but I just don't buy into it, yet. For starters, the guy Kylo stabs is referred to in the script as 'Clan Warrior', and he doesn't have a cool face mask, so I don't buy him as a KOR. I think the Clan massacre scene in the vision is from the past, but the events will have great meaning for Rey in the future, we just don't understand how yet. I don't think Rey is actually personally present in this scene, she seems to be witnessing an event connected to her and the light saber. I wonder if any of her family was connected to this 'clan', and this scene. The clan seems to perhaps be one of these satellite groups, like TCOTF and AOB.

As a side note, I wonder if Kylo somehow stole Luke's green light saber before the Jedi massacre, as he seems to be holding something very like it in that scene. So maybe Luke will need the blue one from Rey after all, and she might have to make her own. I guess perhaps Obi Wan never told Luke that 'this weapon is your life', like he did to Anakin.

 

i agree whatever Kylo Ren is holding in the rain looks more like Luke's green saber than the blue one. but i dont know if it's a saber at all.
if it is, he's holding it rather close to the top, which would seem imbalanced in a natural grip. but then he's unbalanced, so...[snert]

 

Lol. Those Skywalkers do seem to like changing their light sabers with their outfits though.

 

Srsly, like every time you turn around they have a new LS or a new appendage or something.

 

once again, i contend Rey is just too functional to be a blood Skywalker ~ hahaha

 

All will be revealed. In time. I confess I'm hammering for some epic lightsaber action. Luke vs KoR has lots of scope for awesomeness. Still not convinced either way about whether the Clan massacre is past or future.

Side note : If you like sword battles of truly epic proportions, where the good guy prevails over completely overwhelming odds, have you watched the Lone wolf and cub movies? I think you would like them if you haven't.

But you have to admit, these two have quite the fight chemistry...
