Oh yeah the dress code was impressive, way outshining the black robe look Sidious took.

Snoke is super fly, like the Prime Jedi.

The image of the Prime Jedi sure looks a lot like Snoke, but hey, maybe Snoke even possessed the body of the Prime Jedi! After all this time, the body is struggling to contain his essence, which is why he was grooming Kylo to be powerful enough to act as a new vessel.

Kylo is sporting "new age darkness" fashion wear, his cool is so off the charts it killed Snoke.

It would be funny if his robes appearing in that laundry section that Finn, Rose & Dj were seen in. A new one everyday.

Continuing to think about where IX can be going. It can't be as simple as Kylo vs Rey. They need to bring closure to the entire Skywalker Saga beginning with Episode I all the way to Episode IX. They need to converge and tie off every thread that has existed from every film from the originals, prequels and sequels into one satisfying conclusion. I really think that Plagueis "is the key to all this".

The first question is where did the Skywalker's even come from? I think that all signs point to them being artificially created by a powerful being such as Plagueis, born from the force but not of the force. Whilst Rey, is the natural reaction to their creation, a being that is born both from the force and of the force itself. Together they can take down Plagueis, which would be necessary to provide ultimate redemption to all of the Skywalker line and also allow Rey to fulfil the destiny for which she was brought into being.

I really think that Snoke = Alive and Snoke = Plagueis can work for IX.

IX needs to be an absolutely off the chain, insane, no holds barred, all hell breaking loose closure-fest.

It's not because of that. He's dust conscious. If a single speck of dust falls on it, it must be replaced.

It's why Hux pays his laundry bills.

And if you ask me, this pale copy of Sheev perfectly served his purpose and got the ending he deserved.

Cool theory though... the enthusiasm and creativity of Plagueis' fans never cease to amaze me ! (this is not meant to be ironic)

I believe you already realize that they (LFL/Disney) don't have any sort of master plan for the whole trilogy and thus your ideas here may actually help them to move forward from the current mess (as I dare to call the current state of things)? If any of this materializes in IX you should require some reward for it. ;)

I think the idea with Snoke not being actually dead and still existing in some (perhaps spiritual) form may be interesting as the way Kylo killed him seemed way too easy for me (given how he was setup in TFA & described prior to TLJ release). Now if he still survives and can hit back that would be something. It would also most likely mean he's really that powerful that the help of Luke's spirit would be absolutely needed to ultimately defeat him, thus giving Luke's spirit something big to do (if they decide to bring him back to IX).

But they could go anywhere with him, the way RJ handled various characters in TLJ also suggests the possibility that he's really done for good.

However what I was really disappointed with was the "emptiness" of his throne room. It was pretty uninteresting place designed mostly around that color-related idea.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but this is from page 28 of the "art of" book.

This, with the evidence presented in the initial post, I think Plagueis IS dead, and he was residing in or manifesting in Snoke, who was NOT a sith. Now that Luke is one with the force, I can see a battle for the galaxy on the spiritual plane as well as the physical plane of exisistence.

the Plagueis puzzle is truly coming together (interesting about the ring) and i while thinking about the TLJ earlier more pieces dropped into place, it was a true aha moment. anyway on top of all the other clues re force projection, concealing his true form and Snoke's rather abrupt end, I think the key to understanding what went down in TLJ is even closer tied into the Plagueis backstory. it comes back to The Rule of Two, the apprentice has to kill the master to become an all-out Sith lord but DP wasn't into it wanted to live forever. if i remember correctly he wanted to dump the rule but Sidious obviously had other ideas.

Snoke asks Kylo to 'complete his training'....making sense yet? because this way via the fake death illusion Kylo becomes a full on Dark Lord without actually killing the master. and 'Snoke' is not about to make that mistake again. he realises the rule of two playing out is an inevitable outcome for a dark side teacher/apprentice so he engineers the same intention/action from Kylo without coming to any harm, as well as furthering his agenda in several ways, Luke now out the picture etc.

not only is Snoke almost cetainly not dead but the events in TLJ put Plagueis front and centre for a reveal in Ep 9. JJ said the prequels will be relevant and it will connect the entire saga, remember?
