    are we totally against Daisy being a solo at this point?
    I mean I like the idea that she is hiding there with the pirates because they are the only group Han trusts. true solo form.
    then for what ever reason there needs to be a transfer and daisy is sent to meet her dad to hand off Boyega.
    while there Han being a prize for some of the pirates is almost taken because of bounties still out on him
    but the blurred lines of both empire and rebels exist as well within the pirates, who we wont know are actually good until they save someone....

    I read this last night and was too lazy to post it. I'm pretty excited for these dudes to appear in the film. I kind of hope they are of Mandalorian in orgin.

    No reason the Mandalorians can't be as devastated as everyone else, complete with remnant factions... but I am leaning to rogue Jedi...

    I don't recall anyone saying it was... although it is a fair call to point to other Disney pirate franchises as a humorous aside, I don't think anyone is expecting there to be any similarities...

    I mean, it isn't like we're gonna have undead things wandering around... or creatures that require vast amounts of CGI... nothing like that, this is SW

    It would be funny to see a nod to that franchise though to have some pirates similar to Pintel and Ragetti in the background or something.

    First time poster long time lurker, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Clone Wars have a story arc with pirates? To my recollection those were some solid episodes.

    Only fancy lightsaber play. I wouldn't mind a boarding party though, led by Han Solo and they take over an enemy starship. That could be epic.

    Didn't we just see this movie made by Disney? Guardians of the Galaxy. Pirates that are all about themselves that swoop in and save the day? I hope it's not so. I loved Galaxy but I don't want to see it as a Star Wars movie(it already kinda is).
