TLJ Second Trailer. When and Where ??

Mike Zeroh says we might get a trailer before Force Friday.

 

I have not seen or heard anything yet that makes me believe that he is lying.

 

People are making a lot of assumptions based on upcoming events, and many are using it to draw attention to their vids, but I'm not holding my breath over this. I'm not expecting anything until the Fall.

 

Trust us when I say that it wont take long before you understand where we are coming from. Read our previous replies and you'll understand ..

 

It's about time they release a trailer for poor Mike Zeroh.
With his daily leak spoiler videos about what is to appear in second trailer (he's been doing that for the last 7 months)...
the trailer is now 27 minutes and counting.

Preparrrrrrre to be spoiled everyone.

Mike Zeroh here...I've been told Rey will be the reincarnation of the good witch from the wizard of oz. And she will wield none other than a double golden slipper lightsaber. For good measure she will have a new force ability called the "Tornado" It will rock your world....and cause the Jedi to end.

It does feel quite ridiculous that we are getting tons of information from toys, books, posters and what not, but they don't want to release a trailer or teaser until October? That does feel kinda odd.

 

If MZ is right that a trailer comes next week he wouldn't be the first to say that. He is probably going off what someone else has said so he can be right about something.

Personally, would not be surprised to see the trailer on force Friday or the day before...

Protocol Droid here. Every time someone posts one of MZ's 'scoops' here in credulous tones, there is an 87.3% chance that this person is MZ or a friend/family of MZ.

 

At this point it appears to be that we will not be getting another trailer until October.

So, is that the general trend from your sources as well, or just a hunch based off of there being some buzz that a teaser/trailer may release?

 

Right now, Im guessing a trailer between Sept 15 and Oct 15.. tv spots and international trailer to follow...

That's pretty spot on... If Zeroh ever needs a sick day, you could fill in.

 

I think it's very likely at this point that the trailer is gonna be released during Monday night football, probably when it begins on September 11th. Star Wars trailers in the past have almost always been released during events, to reach the largest audience possible (not that Star Wars needs it).

The last Jedi has been following rogue one's release schedule up until now, but rogue one's august trailer was a special case, due to the olympics. The force awakens also had a Monday night football trailer. So with It coming up so soon, a last Jedi trailer being released then is definitely a safe bet, and seems like a no-brainer.

I doubt it'd be any later, because I'd imagine they'll want to space out the 2nd and final trailer.

The last Gane of Thrones S7 story will come out Wednesday or so.
College football starts (for real) this Thursday night (yesterday doesn't count). It's a huge TV night in USA (not sure where you are). The little league World Series is over and the NFL (and therefore) is quiet for this weekend only until February.

The final surge of publicity for BR2 will start in about a week. They can't fight a Harrison Ford/Gosling/etc. charm offensive or even survive it without a very big gun.

Force Friday II hasn't been nearly as high profile as the one in 2015......yet.


They can't wait until October to release a second teaser/first trailer. SW fans are excited about TLJ. But an overwhelming majority of the public haven't really thought about it much since Easter.

This Thursday is a great time to release one if you want some attention to your film for several weeks and your merch rollout on Friday.

We'll get a second (and "final" trailer) before Thor, but I'm convinced we get one before Labor Day.
