I just didn't like how Maul took them out so easily from someone who's so "old" then again Palpatine did the same thing lol .

I like this theory, but it means that she'd willfully choose to let Vader go on doing the things he's done. I don't think she'd be able to kill him either, but I also don't think she'd be able to let him go. Your theory isn't unrealistic, though; I just think it makes Ahsoka a bit more flawed than I want her to be. :)

You do remember our little green friend, right? There is precedent for this.

Really though, can't the same or similiar be said of Yoda and Obi-Wan?

I'm still grieving the loss of Ashoka from the Rebels show, regardless of her in universe status at this point. I was watching TCW, but I've needed a hiatus as it's just too painful watching Snips and Skyguy at this point.

Agreed with @Old Biff from the Future he's not old, still very youthful in his graceful fighting style, a age unseen by the inquisitors who must have had basic training.
It was the perfect cover as to convince Ezra at the time he was not a threat.(vicious)

Hmm... I've been wondering this as well. I'm not convinced that she did, but if I remember correctly, during Shadow of Darkness she had a conversation with Yoda that we weren't privy to, so it's possible he started her on the path much like he did for Obi-Wan.

When Maul was force chocking 7th Sister and telling Ezra to strike her down, I fully expected Ezra to say he had a better way and put a couple stun bolts in her. In fact he didn't use his blaster mode at all.

This scene reminded me of Palpatine telling Anakin to kill Dooku, which he did. So it may be a hint that Ezra can resist dark side impulses, though not entirely.

Nope I'm also considering CANON like Marvel's Darth Vader where he's finally displayed as the badass chosen one he IS.

"Everytime he faced someone of his level, he got beaten" I don't remember anyone of his level until ROTJ's Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Ben Kenobi and TESB's Luke Skywalker does not count, not sure of "someone of his level".

Also I'm pretty sure Alderaan was destroyed under direct command of Grand Moff Tarkin.

it is an act to endear Ezra to him.

That said, dude is old. Say he is 20-25 in TPM, Rebels is roughly 30 years later (ANH is 33 years later) so Maul is 55-55. No spring chicken.

By the way, Ezra was there listening to the first conversation between Ahsoka and Vader, so if he thinks it through, and puts 2 and 2 together, he should infer Vader is Anakin.

THAT, my Star Wars friend, was a well played ruse. Not only did Maul's body language change, but so did his voice.... as soon as he saw the mess he left outside the Sith Temple. "WHAT FUN!" - The dude was full of glee over dropping the charade and getting the chance to lay waste to three of Vader's hunting dogs.

Who did Anakin love more, Kenobi or Tano? Hmmm? Certainly a worthy question.

After rejecting his offer of mercy and calling him vile, why would she be anything less than his mortal enemy? Ahsoka (like Kenobi before her, or after, if we're talking continuity here) represents the most hated part of his past, so I can't get behind the idea that Vader saved her, or let her live. "If you will not turn to the dark side, then you will meet your destiny."

"The Inquisitor is powerful." -- Says the guy who cackles with joy, right before he jumps head first to face off against all three of them at once.

Just for a bit of OT-inspired fun I wish the Zabrak had said: "Formerly Maul. Now just Darth."
But that might have ruined his "These days, I'm not REALLY a Sith Lord" presentation.

We'll he HATES the site and I think he did say something along those lines except the other way around...calling himself "Darth", regardless of how cool the throwback would be, would honestly not make sense in the general scheme of things .

He never said that the Sith were his enemy, he said the Inquisitors and their Masters. He recited part of the Sith code, claimed Ezra as his Apprentice and told the boy that you have to be a Sith or think like one. He will always be Darth Maul, Dark Lord of the Sith. Outcast, or not. If he ever gets his hands on that holocron, he will have his revenge.... he only said formerly Darth to distinguish himself from Vader and Sidious without a lengthy explanation. He just grabbed his saber and attacked all three of the Inquisitors. Use your emotion, let it fill you. Fuel you. Strike her down and finish it. The dark side fights without remorse. All Sith, all the time. Can I count on you, was so Palpatine it made me laugh.

He may of not said this sith were not his enemies directly, but he sure as hell hates them. "The sith took everything from me, ripped me from my mothers arms, murdered my brother, and then cast me aside. Abandoned me." Anger was definetly his tone. Even if he was trying to decieve Ezra there, he spoke the dead truth. I dont think he is a sith anymore, just a really really bad dude.
