    A couple of wine to see in the New Year.

    First a rather nice RED From the Margaret River area in Western Australia ( about 170 Miles south of Perth).
    This is a really nice Cabernet Sauvignon.

    The next wine was a really good whit from Portugal & is drinking wonderfully at 4 years.

    A couple of really nice whites it’s a nice bit of age on them.

    First up was this really nice Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc) This is from probably the best site in Sancerre & From one of its best producers. At 7 years its still drinking really well.

    This weekend wine was a really nice Barolo.

    This is there entry level wine as it’s a blend of the younger vines from there 3 vineyards. they also do 3 single vineyard wines & a reservation which is from older vines which has to be aged for longer before release.

    Even with 13 years aging it still quite tannic something I don’t mind but it’s certainly not a soft east drink red .& would probably last another 10 years if I was that patient.

    So this weekends wine is a bit special.

    So this is the 2nd wine ( & so is made for earlier enjoyment) of 2nd growth Bordeaux Chateau Cos D’Estournel & was absolute fantastic.
