My favorite has to be the brief moment when you can see the skull in vader's helmet when he is hit be sidious's lightning. It shows us there is still a human inside of that suit.

Oh yes! I loved that along with Vader’s indecision!

Who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him?
I like this sentence from Obi Wan Kenobi.

And also when Obi wan decides to sacrifice himself to train Luke later on.

There are soooo many little moments I love, but the asteroid chase in ESB is almost always at the top of my list! Specifically the shot of the Falcon flying down away from the star destroyers.

Every single time I see that shot it makes me smile and still remember seeing it as a kid. Blew me away - thought then and still think it’s one of the coolest movie shots ever. I can’t imagine I’ll ever get tired of it.

With that Williams score behind it, I wish I could quit my job, sell my house, and just live in that moment for the rest of my life :)

    Great pick.

Willrow Hood and his ice cream maker.

Only partially joking having seen fans dress up as him.

The way fans can take something so small in the background and turn it into part of fandom is quintessential Star Wars to me.

Thank you for sharing your experience; just rewatched with new eyes and really enjoyed all the micro-actions; such vision & direction from Mr. Lucas, no wonder Star Wars is for the ages!

One of my favourite moments had to be on Cloud City when Han, Chewie and Leia open the door to the meeting room to find Vader sitting there, and how Han just shoots first.

I just like how it's his instant reaction to this scene!

I grew up watching the trilogy on Betamax and I remember how excited I felt in 1997 when my parents took us to the theatre—we rarely did, kinda expensive for us back then—to watch the 20th Anniversary Edition and how blown away I was by the sight of the starfighters over Yavin. Feeling like a rewatch already :)

Yeah... Favreau has basically canonised the ice-cream maker as a storage container for valuables!

He chats about it in an article on Comicbook.com: The Mandalorian Producer Details Why He Included That Willrow Hood Easter Egg

    From the article:

The Mandalorian [confirms] that it was a device used to transport valuable items, solidifying that Hood was actually attempting to escape Cloud City without leaving behind anything important to him...

...Not only did Favreau use the item to reference the fan-favorite character, but he also likened it to a famous relic from a Quentin Tarantino film. "So we took the ice cream maker and made it the thing like in Pulp Fiction when you open the... the golden briefcase light,' Favreau pointed out.

Easy. The scene where Luke walks out of his home to glare into the twin suns. This represents the force, not just in Luke, but all around him. This was the first look at the force for SW. The scene sends chills down my spine. And an incredible job by John Williams for his Force Theme. This opened up the Star Wars universe.

A quick overlooked detail I always thought was cool.
The awkward breath Kenobi took when Luke asked him how Anakin died.
