If I don't see Jerec, or at least a character inspired by Jerec, I'll be disappointed. He was probably one of my all time favorite Star Wars villains, especially because of Christopher Neame's hammy performance.

I was just watching a series of Star Wars lightsaber duels today and one of them was the Anakin v Bariss showdown. I'd forgotten how good that duel was.

But now that it is being mentioned, I would lvoe to see Starkiller return as Vaders Apprentice, and I would love to see a duel between him and Ahsoka.

And I really strongly believe we will see Mara Jade return.

You seem to be under the mistaken ... and very confusing impression, that the inquistors soul purpose is to hunt and kill Jedi. I am sure that the inquisitors have a very broad array of talents that can be used in many ways.

 

I'm still under the impression that there will be more than one Inquisitor this season. We hung around Lothal last year ... that was the Inquisitor we know's territory. As the show zooms out a bit and our looking glass will cover a larger area, I suspect we will be seeing more than one Inquisitor. The Emperor wants the children of the Force and it's too large a galaxy for one Inquisitor to do.

How can the Inquisitors primary responsbility be to hunt jedi when... there are basically zero. This reminds me of springfields bear patrol. The idea that an entire imperial organization of force users exists to hunt down maybe a handful of individuals is ludicrous.

their primary purpose is probably hunting down any traitor to the empire, as well as internal policing, and maybe general peace keeping or artifact collection.

There is no logical universe where their primary purpose can be the hunting down of Jedi.

 

Times like this makes me think we need a "disagree" button. Dislike has such a negative connotation.

I'm kinda between the two of you on this. Since there are so few jedi, I bet the inquisitors key role is tracking down, recruiting, and training force potentials to be new inquisitors. When a good force user needs to be dealt with, inquisitors are first on the scene, so it might be their most important function while still being something they almost never do.

 

Methinks there will be no new Inquisitor... Vader will do the dirty work himself. Rebels season 2 will be the story arc Vader VS Ahsoka... there is enough stuff to build drama for a fantastic second season for that FANTASTIC animated series... oh.... I soooo love it!
