Everyone is code for Han Solo appearently... and his specific belief is that there is not "one all powerful force"

I think he knows the force is real, but does not believe in its power, reach, and influence.

I think there is a difference between believing something doesnt exist, and believing that it is a piece of old useless crap.

Yeah I thought in Han when I wrote this, but I think that the way he thinks represents the masses... He's not a farm boy in a remote planet, or an old jedi master. He is an independent scoundrel traveling thru hole the Galaxy, so based in his experiences and his knowledge, I think not only him but all the other living forms with whom he interacts thru the Galaxy doesn't consider the force as an "one all powerfull force" as well...

With the arrival of the Empire witch is not a Sith Empire, believe me that trying to survive because of the war people loss the interest for mystical subjects, (the same happened with the World War I here in planet Earth)

Also Palpatine never wanted to get out of the closet and publicly say "I'm the Sith Lord everyone is looking for" even after episode III with all that weird scars in his face everybody referred to him as Emperor Palpatine, not Darth Sidious. That idea never touched people minds in the Galaxy, the jedi were under pursuit and they couldn't express the message. So yeah, I think the Empire promoted this disarticulation between people and the force since the beginning.

None, I think Vader will be filling in that gap himself now.

God, I would love to see Galen Marek turn up in Rebels as an Inquisitor, but his story is far too well visually established in the TFU games, so I don't think it'll ever happen. Plus, let's be honest, his Force powers in the game superceded even those of Master Yoda, so it wouldn't be right to put him in the show and have to dumb-down his abilities. It'd make it far too hard for anyone who's played the games to suspend their belief and watch him get stuck in a situation where he could simply atomise his opponents (as he did with the Stormtroopers), etc.

I have to say, since I saw the Dark Side Bariss picture some months back, I've been hoping that they bring her back in Rebels instead of wasting the opportunity, character chemistry and scenarios. Bariss would be an amazing Dark-Sider, whether she was an assassin, acolyte or full-blown Sith Lord.

While I do want to see Bariss be an inquisitor, I am 90% certain that that they would heavily imply that she is Ahsokas lover either present or past to score PR/PC points with the Social Justice Warrior crowd.

Even though lesbians get like a thousand times more recognition than homosexual men in mainstream media... and honestly aliens dont count (its too easy for them to just say their genders arent like ours, or their culture doesnt have sexual prejudices, and crap like that)

In short, I think the potential for screwing up with Bariss is really really high.

False. Dave Filoni has said himself Vader will NOT be the main villain of Season 2. It would ruin the character to see him outwitted by the Ghost crew episode after episode.

Yeah you're right and Filoni is also right too. But being outwitted by the Ghost crew is not the treatment I actually thought about his role in Rebels. I think he's gonna show up to beat Ashoka, and that's it. The new inquisitor should be Mara Jade or Starkiller... In fact, when Vader's shows up the Ghost crew should be like "let's get the hell out of here right now!" In the Jedi Council of AMC last week they said "wait for Vader on Rebels Season 2, just wait for him".

But don't you think is Anakin who should beat his own padawan? I would love to see Starkiller really, but if someone has to defeat her I think dramatically speaking, should be Vader.

Whelp after seeing two ofhte new inquisitors... I have to say... I am not very impressed with either of them. I feel like they did not put as much effort into them as they are probably just goign to be canon-fodder minions.

The masked female inquisitor has my mind wondering though...

Im a bit... extremely disappointing that they are both using whirley-doodle lightsabers. I thought that it was interesting that the gimmick of the inquisitors lightsaber was his downfall, but with all of them having it, its a standard featurethat was his downfall... not his own vanity and narcissism.

    See why that is disappointing?

Yeah, I get that. I was surprised to see them all have that design for their sabers. It's a clever way of identifying them as inquisitors, I guess. But we are clearly meant to wonder about the female inquisitor. I'm expecting a familiar face.

If they are covering something up, it means its going to be a surprise.

I just hope the show doesn't devolve into clone wars 2 with Rex and Ahsoka... If its Bariss I would be a little bit dissapointed.

But an EU character they wouldnt have to cover up, so she would probably be recognizaable to viewers of star wars stuff.

urughrughr also she has no eye holes, I think she sees with shoulder droid.

I think that female inquisitor will be Sarah Michelle Gellar's character.
