    Honestly, it's a tough call. I think Rey will end up being my favorite of the new protagonists, since I've been hoping for a female main protagonist to lead this trilogy since it was announced in 2012 and I quite like what I've heard about her character so far. Having said that, I think Kylo Ren is shaping up to be an incredible character that could potentially end up being Star Wars' most nuanced and engaging antagonist ever (Vader will always be the most iconic though).

    Finn seems like he'll be great too; very different from previous characters we've seen in the past films.

    I am also on the Phasma bandwagon! So visually striking, and I love Gwendoline in GoT! But honestly I am super stoked with EVERY character so far, all unique and all very cool (as far as looks and what we know about them go). Cannot WAIT to see Snoke!

    I'd say that Rey's shaping up to be another badass young woman. However, Phasma's definitely going to be great to see as a villain character. I'm hoping she makes it out of the film alive and acts as an ongoing villain through out the trilogy. Gwendoline Christie is a phenomenal actress!

    I believe they are compared to each other, no two characters seem to be the same as far as NEW CHARACTERS IN EP 7 :)

    I don't know if that was meant to be a reply to my first post or not, but I'd have to respectfully disagree. :)

    Finn does seem to be pretty unique, at least as far as characters in the previous Star Wars films go. Sure, Han was a lovable rogue who grew into being a true hero and came to be more selfless, but Finn seems to be a character whose arc is more about personal redemption. He's not slowly won over by Rey or Poe to switch over the Light side; he's pro-actively aiming to make amends for his previous connections to the First Order himself.

    He seems like an interesting blend of Aragorn and Sam from Lord of the Rings, albeit with a presumably darker backstory.

    I voted for Ren, costume, saber and his recent dialogue. However, I am starting to rethink Finn. The teasers do no justice with always being out-of-breath. But the new dialogue from the toy is great and he sounds pretty awesome!

    I agree :)

    And hearing the voice samples today just made me more excited to get to know these characters. I always assumed Kylo would have a deep, dark voice. For months i'd built him in my head as this character, then hearing him today changed my perception a lot. I wonder how much is actually different about these character to what we've been constructing in our heads since the first teaser :)

    As of right now it's Finn. But at the end of the trilogy I bet it'll be either Rey or Kylo.

    Well, I don’t have much to go on as we didn’t see the film. Except many, many, many speculations. So, it will have to be BB-8.

    He is super cute and if he has even half the personality of our other favorite droid, R2, he will rock the Force Awakens!

    I figured Kylo would sound like Driver, since he's apparently a young man underneath the mask. It was more the tone and inflection choices that I was interested in hearing how Kylo would sound. It's kinda hard to tell exactly, due to the fact that this is a low quality recording filtered out through a toy, but I think I like what I've heard from him so far. His delivery of "Don't be afraid" is probably the creepiest line I've ever heard in a Star Wars film.

    I had a hard time picking between Rey and Kylo, but I ended up voting for the latter. He just seems like he'll be an incredible villain.
