    I don't think Rey is 'affiliated' to anyone. It does'nt have much sense to think a Skywalker or a Solo lives from scavenging on a lonely planet. She's more an Ezra-like character. Orphant maybe but we will know more about her origins in EP VIII.

    We have to consider that when Vador killed the emperor he was supposed to bring balance to the Galaxy and as far as we know, there were still two Jedis alive at the moment ( Luke and Leia ) considering Leia was somehow neutral, it implies that somewhere, a representative of the Dark Side has born on that day to balance Luke's power.

    The major 'twist' in this one is that Dark siders survived their death like some Jedis do and their spirit are still alive and will influence some of our new heroes. Maybe Ren, maybe Rey. Finn will train as a jedi and I think his originis are linked to Zare Leonis' sister.

    I also think that the movie will talk about reincarnation.

    Have we completely dismissed the Adam Driver (talking to Harrison Ford) scene at Greenham??
    Oh, I know "it's not Adam...it's his stunt double..." So let me ask this a different way....
    Do we know why Adam Driver was cast as Kylo Ren? Wouldn't it have been easy to cast a tall dude who's good with a sword, and just do some voiceover work?
    Ah, that didn't happen because at SOME POINT Adam's face will be revealed....

    My big twist is related to this scene. I think the unmasked Kylo has a connection to the Resistance...and this is how he learns where Luke's saber is AND sets the Resistance up for a TRAP to recover said saber. Might explain why Rey and Finn are even involved in the Resistance plans to go to the Starkiller base (and we know Finn is at the Resistance base because we heard Boyega's name in the audio).

    In the meantime, please hit the 'disagree' and tell me this is a just a random background pilot who just happens to look exactly like Adam Driver....my feelings won't be hurt.

    Kinda interesting that Captain Phasma's clone was there too....

    yeah yeah...all the First Order stunt doubles were used in the filming at Greenham. I get it. (even though, I'm not sure why Christie's double would look like her if she was in Phasma armor the who movie)

    Sheev lied all along about Plagueis and he has been alive all this time carrying on his experiments. His alias is Snoke. He is the 'Fleet Admiral' that Grand Moff Pandion discovers is alive at the end of the novel Star Wars Aftermath. Whether or not its revealed in TFA Snoke is Plagueis outright or just gives hint to the fact he is I'm not sure. However I am ever hopeful this will happen. I dont think we have seen any images of Snoke as yet as by the time we see him in TFA he will have had his staff returned to him. A staff that has been in the hands of Rey for the majority of the movie

    One thing which leads me to doubt Rey is related to Han Solo.. in an interview around the time of Disney Celebration, Daisy jokingly said "Oh.. like is Han Solo my father?" when an interviewer said they had some questions for her.

    There is no way I would say this in her situation if it were true, its too on the nose.

    I think she is more likely to be related to Luke, Obi Wan or not be related to anyone we've seen before. There is nothing in the canon to say the force is strictly hereditary.. I also think the awakening probably relates to Finn, perhaps he has been "chosen" by the force in the same way that Anakin was. Maybe when there is an imminent threat from the dark side, the force randomly picks someone to be destined to defeat the evil? I think Finn will consistently come across as weak throughout the trilogy, but eventually sacrifices himself and defeats the dark side in episode 9. In the same way Anakin did, but without turning bad in the first place of course. A bit like the whole 'Neville Longbottom is the chosen one' thing from Harry Potter, we'll see it more through Rey's eyes come episode 8 onward.

    Another thing.. there was a rumour in which Rey and Kylo are related, but they are not related to any of the big three..

    They are from a sith family.

    Perhaps in the flashback we see Rey/Kylo's family killed by Luke, Rey was a baby, but Kylo was about 6. Luke takes Rey, leaving Kylo standing by his dead family (this makes us sympathize with Kylo) then Luke delivers Rey to 'The Vicar' (Max Von Sydow) and she is raised by him on Jakku.. while Kylo grows up wanting his revenge. When Rey learns all this during the flashback, this is when she runs away into the forest prior to the assault on the castle? Perhaps she believed that Luke was her father? Anyway, this may just be wild speculation or lies.

    ROTJ retconned to only be a couple months after ESB. Luke knocked up Leia with Kylo on Hoth.

    Finn will inherit the Falcon. Since he's injured at the end of the film, he gets new co-pilot Chewie to fly Rey to Luke (I just like the idea of Finn bonding with Han). Though I'm not quite sure how he'd inherit something from a guy he barely knows.

    I think Force Ghost Yoda will tell Luke something or show him something that will be pivotal.
    I don't think Disney, Bad Robot and ILM would waste a Frank Oz cameo on a idle chit chat.

    We learned recently that Rey will have a posh accent (from the "Received Pronunciation" speech coaching).

    So I don't know that I fully believe this, but I'm reaching for a big curve ball.. my crazy twist is she's somehow related to an imperial she never knew: Palpatine. (Naboo royal blood line) ;)
