    I thought we had done a /thread, but I guess some of you are still holding out on a small hope that there will be a trailer and in reality it was some sort of reverse marketing strategy to tell people otherwise, I know I am not (well... maybe just a little).

    Any how, there is an unconfirmed rumor that the trailer was pushed back because SDCC wouldn't allow them to livestream the event. Does anyone have any insight on this? I find it hard to believe because I doubt they would push the trailer back to October just because you couldn't show it the way you wanted at SDCC. Attaching it to Ant Man makes a lot more sense, with a worldwide release on the internet.

    If anything they'll release it in August or September, not October, October is to close to release for a Big Movie's first full trailer.

    Actually the October release date comes from a website that projects trailer release dates, and since EW already confirmed that it won´t hit us until fall... October might be what their marketing team is considering to be the best time to release the trailer. We WON'T get it in August (it would have been at D23), the earliest possible is September, but even that is not confirmed. October remains likely.

    Not sure. They start handing them out a 830 pm but I have no idea what to expect line wise around that time. I'm going to go by in the after noon a couple times to get a gauge on how big the line is getting.

    I'm starting to suspect we're going to get a scene from the movie, but it will only be seen by attendees.

    I think that we should also consider what time the panel starts. Early morning over here (ireland). I don't think they're going to release a new trailer at that time. I appreciate the concept of time-zones, but the other trailers have all be released in the late afternoon (GMT)

    Damn, I have lost all hope on there being a trailer today. I won't go into why, but I've read a few things today that have discredited some people.

    They are going to drop something huge on us today. Maybe not a trailer but something new and unexpected. It's SDCC and they're going there to create buzz. I think we'll see a scene from the movie instead of a trailer. At the very least, we'll see some behind the scenes footage and possibly see a character we haven't glimpsed in the trailers yet. Luke, C-3PO or maybe even Snoke?

    Im still holding out for a trailer. I know Im probably going to be disappointed, but theres nothing wrong with hoping. Being in the UK I wont know until I wake up tomorrow morning.

    If not a trailer - Id like the 'Special Look' to centre around Snoke/Plagueis. I know @ITG will be hoping the same!

    There is some small hope that they whipped up a quick teaser to release with their app just because of popular demand. BUT I seriously doubt it. Meh, I have work to do, I'll come back right before the event starts.
