    Has anyone seen Star Trek Beyond?

    The bad guy in that:

    - Was once a good guy, working for the federation.
    - Crashed on a planet where he discovered life prolonging technology
    - This technology allowed him to drain the life from others and his appearance completely changed (looked like an alien)
    - Sought an ancient artefact that was one part of an ancient weapon that drained life (matter) on a massive scale.

    But apparently that article beat me by a month. :(
    I proposed the same theory in a vacuum. I don't think Snoke is Plagueis though. Palps said Plagueis was the only SITH to learn the secret and they already said Snoke is not a Sith. So I think he worked in tandem WITH Plagueis to learn the secret and then Snoke was betrayed by Plagueis.

    Plagueis is killed by Palps (as implied BY PALPs in RotS) and that leaves Snoke alive to try again (this time making Rey).

    I think it would also be fitting to eventually reveal that such a process twists and severely weakens the practitioner of such dark arts. This would be a limiting factor on doing such often and might also have weakened Plagueis enough for Palps to kill him. There is 50 years between Anakin and Rey's birth. Nice round number there to support my proposed theory xD

    That's why I still believe in this theory. As far as I know, Pablo has never said "Plagueis will not be in the ST".

    Answer me this key question @master_shaitan, if it were you writing Plagueis into your own sequel trilogy, but you had to keep his identity secret and mysterious like the Emperor, how much differently from Snoke are you writing him? What other Plagueis hints, if any, could've TFA possibly have added onto Snoke without ruining the mystery?

    Nor, I very much doubt, will he confirm that "Plagueis is still canonically a Muun", the one thing that categorically and unequivocally renders the Plagueis-is-Snoke theory obsolete.
