    Definitely looking forward to this - this is the most anticipated movie for me in 2016, Star Wars or not. I really liked the direction they went with Man Of Steel, but with this movie, I'm really hoping they can establish a wider and more expansive universe, since the first movie in this series felt pretty standalone.

    Oh, and you don't happen to mean THIS video, now, do you?

    Yeah, I was one of those most skeptical of Batfleck but after seeing this and his test pics I think he at least looks the part. And YES that is the trailer I posted earlier but then was taken down. I have it on my computer! Thanks for posting it Pomojema! ;)

    Batman is my second love behind star wars and to see him and superman on the screen together is almost as cool as seeing Mark Hamill play Luke again. Its a great time to be a geek man.

    Batman was always my favorite "super" hero growing up, but when Frank Miller got ahold of him and turned his mythos into the Dark Knight is was hooked for life, despite Batfleck (whom I really dislike btw.) Still I can hardly wait for this movie as it looks like the truest adaptation of Batman ever put on film.

    What you don't like Batfleck! He is the first Batman that has actually looked like Batman to me. I think people will be surprised about how good he will be.

    Don't get me wrong -- I've definitely warmed-up to him as Batman.

    But before this I couldn't stand the guy as a person and actor, in a word "smarmy."

    I've heard so many rumors -- Joker and Black Bolt -- namely. I think the rock was cast as BB, Capt. Marvel's archenemy. Seeing Captain Marvel on film could be cool. I just hope they don't turn it into a cartoon with so many heroes and villains. I fear they may be over doing it:

    1- Batman
    2- Robin (rumored to be Daniel Radcliffe)
    3- Superman
    4- Captain Marvel
    5- Flash (rumored)
    6- Wonder Woman
    7- Aquman (that dude who played Conan reboot)

    Then the villains?! That's a lot to try to work in to a cohesive movie without having solo movies a la Marvel. For the life of me I don't understand why DC didn't take the "Phase" approach.

    I thought they should have taken it a little more slowly as well. They had all the selling points they needed to make 10 billion dollars at the box office and that is Superman and Batman. I am thinking Captain Marvel may be disconnected from the DCU and just have his own movies. I just heard the President of whoever is doing this movie and that is just the way it sounded.

    The Rock is playing Black Adam - Black Bolt is a Marvel character.

    Robin actually appearing in Dawn Of Justice is unconfirmed - Daniel Radcliffe has only said he wants to play Robin. However, there are rumors that Batman had worked with Robin until he died (they're probably going with the second Robin, Jason Todd, here - the first and third Robins - Dick Grayson and Tim Drake - could probably lead potential Teen Titans and Young Justice movies). The Shazam movie is said to be a standalone title that doesn't really have an impact on Justice League, so I think what they're going for is a world-building exercise along the lines of what Guardians Of The Galaxy was for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But it's not likely he'll appear in the first Justice League movie.

    Also, can I change this thread's name to DC Cinematic Universe? There are a TON of movies in this setting on the horizon.

    Holy crap! That is the most futuristic version ever and resembles the tumbler a little.

    I LOL'd at this part. I think it's safe to say that it's covered in dry mud in the pics they refer to.

    BvS looks promising, I'm not even worried about Batfleck. I'm only worried about Zack Snyder. Man of Steel was such a disappointment to me, unfortunately. Let's hope BvS has a bit more humor involved!

    Big update! DC's movie plans through 2020 been unveiled. They are as follows:

    • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25, 2016)
    • Suicide Squad (August 5th, 2016)
    • Wonder Woman (June 23rd, 2017)
    • Justice League (November 17th, 2017)
    • The Flash (March 23rd, 2018)
    • Aquaman (July 27th, 2018)
    • Shazam (April 5th, 2019)
    • Justice League 2 (June 14th, 2019)
    • Cyborg (April 3rd, 2020)
    • Green Lantern (June 19th, 2020)

    In addition, another Superman film is being made and a new Batman movie is being made, though neither have release dates attached to them.
