That would be pretty cool but I hope they don't over do the rain as we already know Batman and Supes duke it out in a downpour as evidenced by the teaser trailer.

Maybe it will be within the same day so the rain would be okay.

Had to vote Dawn of Justice. All their hopes for a collective universe like Marvel hinges on this movie to get things started right.

They most likely will nail it. A lot of positive reception toward any superhero movie goes toward the writing, and the guy who's writing it took an Oscar home for Argo.

Affleck is writing the movie as well? Didn't know that.

He's not. Chris Terrio, who wrote Argo, is writing Dawn Of Justice.

He may have produced but yeah he did not write.

Rumor is that the Wonder Woman solo film is going to be set in the 1920s. Makes no since to me but could be interesting. I a little burnout on prequel superhero movies though.

    Yup.

I think it makes perfect sense, considering you've got a character who is for all intents and purposes immortal, and it can allow you to explore a time period where other characters could appear. The only problem I see is how you tie what happens in a prequel to what happens later on down the line, especially if you're talking about making more sequels to the prequels.

I think it is important in a cinematic universe to keep moving forward and progress your story. Rather than telling a story set in the present then jumping back to the 1920s. In truth it would be like seeing Captain first in Avengers then watching The First Avenger for his origin. I mean that's alright for one movie but the sequel to Wonder Woman is supposed to be set in the 40s if rumors are to be believed and like I said there is no forward progression. It sounds very interesting but definitely out there in left field. You have to wonder if this is just a Wonder Woman thing. Are they going to tell Aquaman, Flash, or even Batman's origin story? I hope not if you get a Justice League two parter and then keep jumping back to origin stories. Why not just make to origin stories first and then make the team up? To answer my own question I think they are trying to catch up to Marvel too quickly in just a couple of films. It could work but it runs the risk of overwhelming an audience.

Finally some DC news! This is some of the coolest to date so strap your self in. Warner Brothers is planning a Suicide Squad movie as we found out a little while ago but the interesting part is the character they are including in on the team. Ready? None other than The Joker himself and the immensely talented Jared Leto is in deep talks to play him. The Wrap and Hollywood Reporter are both reporting this. Here is a quote from Leto a short time ago before this news broke "I do [have my eye on one project]. I am excited about what's happening. I've sworn to keep my mouth shut but I think that very shortly there will be something to talk about, that's for sure." Leto in my opinion is a good enough actor to do the part justice and make the late Heath Ledger proud.

He was in Fight Club, so he should probably be able to handle a character like the Joker without a problem.

Rumors also have it that Lex Luthor will be in the movie and to see Joker and Luthor together on the big screen will be another awesome moment coming from the new DCCU.

Up until now, I was under the impression that the group would be financed by Lex Luthor and Amanda Waller or something, but with rumors of the Joker being in the movie, I'm beginning to wonder if this is a set-up for a storyline involving The Legion Of Doom years down the line. I think that would work for one of the two Justice League movies that DC has already announced (or it would at least work better than the Sinister Six movie could prepare for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which I'm not sure is even going to be made based on the financial deep blast that Sony is in).

I also heard rumors that Braniac is going to be the primary antagonist of a Justice League movie, and I'd prefer that he is over someone like Darkseid because I think a character like that needs a greater lead-in to work effectively (I get the feeling that a New Gods movie could help establish Darkseid as a serious threat). In any case, I hope they end up going for a Justice League VS The Legion Of Doom movie first to distance themselves from either of Marvel's Avengers movies.

Yeah Legion of Doom Vs Justice League would be crazy if they set it up and execute it right. I heard Braniac is going to be the villain in Justice League 1 and at the end of that movie Green Lantern arrives for the first time to warn the League of Darkseid who is on his way. Then of course Lantern would join the team for part 2.

If they show post credits scenes it would be a cool stinger to show The Joker in a vegetative state in a mental hospital reminiscent of The Dark Knight Returns and when he sees Batfleck return from retirement on the TV or something he lets out a creepy laugh and smile and cue the credits. That would have the hype of Suicide Squad through the roof.

On the note of the possible new Joker, say hello to the possible frontrunner for Harley Quinn:
