    Considering that it sounds like Fox is gypping him on the option to play Cable (which is stupid of them to not consider, since he'll be tied to the four Avatar sequels anyway and will already be on Fox's payroll at that point), this seems like it would work.

    As for me, I'd hope for someone more familiar with the character. Someone who's even played him before on a different work...

    There was talk from David S. Goyer about it taking place X-ty years before Man Of Steel's prologue. It might have changed, though - and I'm guessing that it might just be its own continuity based on the actress's race being different than Michael Shannon's.

    I do think that it'd be neat if they tie the two together, though - it would provide good world-building for the Superman movie that is now in active development.

    Yeah also it's not on one of the main primetime networks that has the DCTV universe so it could work well within the movie continuity .

    Your not wrong, however with the right story, who knows, it could be good. I also think they could do an awesome Black Widow movie by the way ;), although I don't know about a whole franchise.

    The premise rumors I'm hearing are just like the Green Arrow "Super Mx"movie they were supposed to film a few years ago except now with female suoervillians...it could be cool but is it because of "Feminine power" or because it simply sounds cool? I think it's both but it really needs to be done right which is walking a very fine line..

    I don't disagree, at this point all of the DCEU films "sound cool" in concept, but the execution is where things tend to disappoint.
