Does Snoke have a lightsaber ??

nope, this is a Vader-like placeholder for Kylo, before his final design was done. It was so early, that Finn is still a white male in this concept.

 

I actually think that "Finn" looks like Ben Solo in this concept piece. They may have known what what he would look like at this stage, as I think Adam Driver was one of the only new cast members who didn't have to audition. Anyway, this looks a little bit like a possible Rey-and-Kylo-team-up-against-Snoke piece to me...

 

Theory: he wont use a lightsaber but a weapon no one else uses. Or weapons. The knights of ren are older than the Sith. Snoke is the first dark side user.he was resurrected or force drained someone while dead in his crypt.

 

That would be something new to see, lightsaber forged from the force.

 

1. No, the Sith are the first proper dark acolytes in canon. They may not be the first beings to use the dark side for something, but they were the first major dark side order of any kind.
2. Snoke is old, but I highly doubt he is over 7000 years old.
3. Dark siders cannot live on after death.

 

Haha. I don't know, not saying as in I have a theory. Just more like, it could link Snoke with certain people, say he is carrying Palpatines or something.
Then it would be a cool story as to how he got that saber, more background and depth on the smaller things!

3.who knows.maybe that force tree leak is legit and snoke is that little boy dancing round that tree.then who knows what he is capable of.watching snoke for the first time i was reminded of naruto manga where the super villain died in battle but came back to life in his grave a few days later because of some forbidden ninja technique he used the moment he died.after crawling out of his grave he caused a ninja world war from the shadows.

But this is just my opinion man.

Maybe snoke will use a spiked mace.medieval style.

 

I'm hoping Snoke turns on Rey's staff as soon as he sees it. Or something along that line.​

 

Personally I think Snoke has a lightsaber but he's so powerful he chooses not to use it (like Sheev Palpatine.) I am under the impression that both Snoke and Luke have become so powerful they will use alternative methods of fighting. By the way, whoever made that artwork should work at Lucasfilm.

 

My firm belief is that Snoke is not the big bad. Ren is. Kylo will take him out hopefully during a temper tantrum.

I think Snoke has a sabre but he might not use it.

It is not legitimate for several reasons, including: the fact that Pablo has stated that the author of that rumour makes up crap all the time, and the fact that it directly contradicts the prophecy of the chosen one.

 

I would love to see Snoke use the Darkstaff instead of a lightsaber.

 

He without a doubt has force powers but he may never use a lightsaber because if he is strong enough in the darkside he may never need to use one.

 

I don't think he needs one. Maybe I prefer an emperor style like in ROTJ.

But an epic lightsaber duel with Luke could be great too.

 

Well, if he ever had one (he probably did), there's no way he's using it now. I mean look at him.... He looks like he could float away in a mild breeze. There isn't enough force in the galaxy to make the walking corpse limber again haha This is probably why Kylo Ren is not exactly great with a lightsaber... He only got training from Luke, the zombie can only teach him how to use the force.

 

I don't think he needs a lightsaber he has Kylo.
I wonder if he is even that powerfull. We haven't seen him doing force voodoo yet.
Maybe he knows a enough about the force from whatever source, to teach someone, but can't use it himself. But he is nontheless able to manipulate people, and he needs/wants a forceuser to reach his goals.

 

I think Snoke is like a kind of Dalí.

Dali said once: "I don't do drugs. I am drugs."

And Snoke would be like: "I don't use The Force. I am The Force..."

Personally, I hope not. One of the reasons the Emperor was so memorable - in the OT - was that he used an ability seemingly exclusive to him: Force Lightning.

If Del Toro isn't portraying a lightsaber-wielding Dark Side Force user, I think we might see Snoke turn against Kylo if he continues to fail him.

His power, in my opinion, should be much like Nihilus': Force Drain, where he drains the life from the living to give himself more power (which goes directly against the Jedi's use of the Force, and also possibly adds to Plagueis' lore).

 

Sounds "grey" or "bendu" to me, right on!
