    My favorite scene in the film is the opening scene.

    Kylo Ren coming down off his ship with the John Williams score.


    "I'll show you the darkside"

    "Who talks first?"

    man, the whole entire opening scene may be the best or even better than the opening of A NEW HOPE with Vader.

    It could be close if it weren't for the SD opening scene (that is classic) and Vader's intro. However, the TFA opening scene is stellar in every way IMHO!.

    Oh there are so many to choose from:

    -The opening shot. Homaging ANG without being a straight-up copy.
    -"Rey on Jakku" montage. Brilliant cinematography and direction, also some fantastic non-verbal storytelling and acting.
    -Both Kylo "interrogation scenes." There just really well-done, particularly the one with Rey.
    -The Kylo/Han confrontation, see above.
    -All of the character interactions. Rey/Finn, Finn/Poe, Rey/Han, Finn/Han, Chewie/Han, Finn/Chewie, Kylo/Rey, even Kylo/Hux, etc.
    -The scene with Stormtrooper James Bond. Hilarious and awesome.
    -The lightsaber duel in the snow. So poetic and epic.
    -The last scene, see above.
    -Hux's speech.

    And I could list so many more.

    Poe's lines seemed too childish to me, but I liked the end credits .

    That's a tough question. The film really does have so many great moments. I think I'll go with the most memorable for me which was Maz's castle. The scene that had the greatest impact on me I think was Rey and Luke at the very end, so much said with no dialog at all, but Maz's castle was just a cool collection of scenes. First we get to see Star Wars as I know it, a place where crazy spacers hang out with weird aliens. It was a nice homage to the original cantina scene without being too derivative. Maz is one of my favorite new characters, I can't wait to see more with her. Dat Force flashback doe... so awesome.

    Finn's back and forth with BB-8 where he was trying to continue to look like a "big deal." (ending, of course, with BB-8's "thumbs up")

    When Hen/Rey/Finn/BB-8 enter the castle and Maz wants to know where her boyfriend is.

    Also, the other 2 hours and 13 minutes I didn't mention.

    Rey, all the scenes with Rey. She's the best. I'm obsessed. I was so worried Daisy wouldn't be a good actor. But she nailed it and she's my favorite now.

    Agreed she was fantastic. And it's all the more impressive given that this was her first big film role. So if you had to pick a few scenes in particular as your absolute favorite, what would they be? I'm curious.

    Mine would be her appalled and scared face after the flashback, "What was that!?", She looks like an entirely different person.

    Defiantly not my FAVORITE, but a scene i haven't seen many people talk about.
    Han, Chewie and Finn meeting up with Rey on Starkiller base. The look on Rey's face when Chewie says it was Finn's idea, and Finns cheeky grin when he gets a hug from Rey ;)

    Also the interrogation scene wtih Rey and Kylo. When Kylo sees Reys loneliness and how she's afraid to leave
    And when Rey sees that Kylo is afraid of not being as powerful as Vader, his face is priceless :)
