    If I were a story writer I'd do the following:

    1. Kill off Ezra because he is clearly strong with the force, one could say even a force prodigy of sorts and while he is not as strong as Luke, it still takes away from the latter's importance.

    2. Maul dies at the hands of Vader. He really needs to go before ANH, he has been around for too long anyway.

    3. Kanan goes into exile overwhelmed by grief over Ezra's death. No, Kanan is not Snoke. He is just gone, decided to step away from things such as Galactic Civil War. Living somewhere in the Unknown Regions away from everything. Also, probably not with Hera since Rebellion is what matters to her the most.

    Just been thinking, maybe Sabine is being pushed front and centre of the advertising for S3 (with Ezra) as she is the first of the gang to bite it? Maybe it's kind of subtle foreshadowing
