    John Wick 4, likely the most ridiculous and infantile movie I've seen in years... since JW3, I'm guessing. Why is this franchise even a thing?

    The dialogue is idiotic and the 2 hours of violence extremely repetitive, and the acting and delivery is shocking poor through most of it.

    Japanese movie As Long as We Both Shall Live (2023), based on the manga My Happy Marriage. The most romantic movie without a single kiss and a dash of supernatural. I hope for the sequels.

    Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) - Charming and entertaining, could shave off at least 15 minutes of runtime. I would also watch the potential sequels.

    To me Lazenby was a pretty decent Bond but unfortunately I'm not as big of a fan of the movie he's in. As this is one of the more faithful adaptations of a Bond novel you can blame the source material. It has its moments though, especially the ending and it's far from being the worst Bond movie.

    A Haunting in Venice It’s not terrible but it’s definitely not as good as the other 2 Kenneth Branagh Poirot films & given the cast ( Which is again fantastic) I was definitely expecting more from it. The fact it is only very loosely based on Christie Halloween Party novel ( It’s set at Halloween & has Poirot & The author Ariadne Oliver in it & that’s about it :)). Is a interesting choice & it’s like they wanted the poirot name attached to the film without having to work at adapting on of the existing novels & it’s not as if they are short of novels to adapt.

    Agreed. There's a lot of things that are weird about A Haunting in Venice -- tone, fractured plot, inconsistent characters -- and it feels like they were never sure exactly what movie they were making. Which is odd as, reportedly, Branagh and his team worked closely with the Agathe Christie estate and enjoyed an immacable relationship throughout, so much so that they apparently asked Branagh to do another one. Weird.

    The film isn't bad, but it is chaotic and somewhat disappointing, I find... (And I enjoyed MotOE and absolutely adored DotN!)

    That netflix movie with Michael Fassbender. Only watched the first half. Boring. But it had some interesting music choices like the theme song from the 90s series charmed for example.
