The Whole Truth with Keanu Reeves, Rene Zellweger and Jim Belushi. It's about a murder mystery. Reeves is a lawyer and friend of the family. He is representing the son who is accused of killing his father(Jim Belushi)

This movie is so basic and shallow. I like Keanu and Jim Belsuhi but this movie lacks so much depth. We spend most of the time in court right off and have some flashbacks painting Jim's character in a bad light. After an hour into it I figured out who killed him. It was pretty obvious.

Who is the killer you ask? Welll I'd say watch the movie and find out, but I really don't recommend you do.

The Mummy and The Mummy Returns-Love these movies! Not talking about Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, though.

The Scorpion King-Yeah, too bad our hero will be turned into a CGI monster and fall at the hands of Brendan Fraser in 5000 years. LOL.

I saw Being John Malkovich yesterday and was genuinely surprised by how heartfelt the film was, particularly the ending. My only major complaint (based on nothing but my expectations) was how little octavia Spencer was featured in the film but again, this disappointment is nothing but my fault.

    10 Cloverfield Lane.
Luckily no-one had really told me much about it, but knowing the first movie you knew it couldn't be a straightforward kidnap/not kidnap story. Quite enjoyed it for what it was and enjoyed seeing a darker Dan Connor in John Goodman.

Fun story, the reason he looks so bad is they ran out of time and money and they just said "Nope. We're done. Wrap it up"

And clearly Tomb of the Dragon Emperor learned from this mistake.

Seen Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and I must say I understand the criticisms behind the film. There is an event that happens in the middle of the movie that has consequences on the Sam Rockwell's character. The problem with that event is that it's very clichéd and it changes him waaay to quickly. That's when the film sort of falls apart. The first half is much better. If there's an aspect of film, which I cannot criticize, it is acting. Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, etc. - they all give great performances. Overall, it was fine, but not spectacular.

Watched Anabelle Creation last night. It was better than the first movie, in my opinion, but not all that scary. There were some pretty decent scenes, but one moment of really bad special effects during an early jump scare kind of deflated the tension for my for the rest of the movie.

The Seventh Seal I think (I watched a good amount of movies over a pretty short time period), but hopefully I'll be able to watch Baby Driver for the first time tonight!

Finally saw DARKEST HOUR - overall it's better than what I had expected. Score is quite good and the performances are just incredible. Oldman's hype for best actor is well deserved and I haven't seen a better turn from an actor in 2017.
