    The name 'Montross' was finally assigned to a bounty hunter, so not sure if the name will be used again for a live-action project. I was half-sure it was re-purposed in The Clone Wars cartoon for another fringe character?

    "Tyranus offered Montross a chance to hunt the rogue Jedi Komari Vosa, leader of the Bando Gora cult, for a bounty of five million credits. He was not the only one to receive the offer, though, and amongst his competitors was Jango Fett, who had become a bounty hunter himself in the intervening years. Unknown to either of them, the winner of the competition would also be the prime clone for a clone army that Tyranus was building."

    I'm bringing "Lost" into this

    Jack takes Jacobs gig of "Good Guy" Island protector.

    I see 3 possibilities

    •Darth Plagious was the REAL Phantom Menace
    • Didn't Luke have a force sensitive twin sister who was into politics...
    •Plagious & Sidious did create Anikan... Shimi Skywalker had twins and there's another Skywalker family line that we haven't met

    That is the current conjecture, I believe...

    The concept art we have for Montross was actually (I believe) from the original film, he was to be a character in ANH (back when it was just called Star Wars) but didn't make the final version

    Hmmm... that would explain the nose ring and eyebrow piercing...

    The Montross that was originally slated for ANH is what the concept art is about... the backstory, I believe, is now non-canon, as the character was never used.

    Thanks, Tidmadt. Are you saying the Montross concept art is a bum-steer, that it is old stuff that doesn't relate to TFA at all?

    Unknown... it was included with the other leaked concept artwork, but seems to fit the character we believe MvS is playing... so it is possible that the character is built off that unused concept...

    With that being said... whether MvS's character is based on Montross the concept for ANH, or the "legend" that grew up after that... crapshot...

    Interesting. Hearing that is old art explains a lot to me. After seeing it, I dug out my old copy of "The Art of Heavy Metal" (a companion to the 1981 animated film) because I was CERTAIN I recognized it from there. I didn't find it, of course; but it did seem of that earlier era, if you know what I mean. In fact, I didn't like it at all, tbh. Just didn't seem SW somehow.

    Nope, I never confirmed any Inquisitor rumors. Quite the opposite. When this rumor hit the web my source told me that it's very far from the truth.

    On several occasions it was mentioned that this word was never used on the set. But I honestly don't know.
