I don't think he is tied to any rag specifically... he gets quoted a lot. His spoiler work on Avatar was extensive, and I have been following his leaks on Terminator 5... given the amount of information he had with Marvel ant man, more than one have speculated he has ties to someone on the inside of Disney's empire... however, as with all things, it is speculation until proven... I just consider stuff from him to be informed speculation

I don't think the rumors contradict... I think they are being looked at the wrong way. I think Luke is the Warlord, the Warlord is not a cyborg (therefore Luke is not a cyborg), the Warlord is the leader of the chromies, the chromies are pirates and they are not evil... I do think that their motives are not clear, and that they may be viewed as evil by others (the Alliance) I think this is Luke's solution, and it just isn't one that is going to sit well with some of the others

Driver reports to Luke, that's the twist at the end of EP7. Much like Sidious devised a plan to hide his identity and destroy the Jedi, Luke is scheming to infiltrate the dark side users. Some of his choices will be difficult to make, but for the sake of greater good he can't blow his cover.

 

I'm not saying any of it is true. It's all rumour. I'm explaining my reasoning for preferring one rumour over another. Nothing more. Multiple sources saying the same thing and what makes sense to me. I've said in other threads that all this could be information being fed and I believe some of it is, but some of it isn't. It's 2014 and the Internet has shown that JJ and his mystery box can be blown wide open eg Star Trek Into Darkness.
But again, it's all rumour and we have to assume that none of it's true until we see the film.
It's not like we have one set plot that we have agreed is the true rumour and it's not like I've laid my stall out saying what I think is true and what isn't.

 

Agreed... at the end of the day, sites like traffic...

I will say this, though... I have seen Viral and Jason (MSW) both report on something that is making the rounds and make no further comment than that...I have even seen them going so far as to say, "here is something making the rounds, and while I don't personally believe it, we are reporting in fairness"

I have also seen them both make comments on things...

I think these two are pretty fair in the balance of reporting speculation, rumor and official spoilers... which is why I go to these two sites first... while there is a certain amount of play you need to do to stay in the game, I think some are more fair than other... the sites I hate are the ones that just go troll the other sites, reword crap, and try to present it as meaningful...

Oh hell, I hadn't thought of that... I still go with Luke not being evil, and I never thought Driver was... so this could work...

I suppose from a logical side it is possible that after 30 years of war Luke might indeed have more metal parts on him. The problem is the sources with no information. how do I know the source isn't the voice in your head? How do you know the source, Why is the source willing to risk loosing his job and professional credibility by talking to you? Valid questions not enough people with sources have answers for.

I agree with the above. In fact from a make up stand point it would be illogical and hard to grow a beard to cover half of it up with metal. The benefit is not worth the cost.

This is illogical. The reason is simple. Sideous nobody knew about. Its easy to hide when nobody knows there are any sith at all. Its much harder to hide when you are the savior of the galaxy and more famous that the president. This is a little like President Obama going undercover to catch drug dealers in Wyoming.

This is it though. Spectacle is making these statements with such confidence, but come the end of next year, all will be forgotten/ Spectacle will have disappeared.

My point.... We need some sort of verification before people are allowed to post their scoopz. Which of course may be impossible.

I agree that Luke going "undercover" would be difficult... Han is supposidly dressing as a stormtrooper though, but yes, the only way I could see Luke being the Warlord is if he were presumed dead by the galaxy, and the armour were there to keep that secret hidden...

Also, if Obama drove up to a quicky-mart in a beat up chevy and ordered a moon pie and an RC cola, some people might look at him and say, "you look a lot like that Obama fella", and he might say, "I get that alot" People would be willing to believe it was coincidence because he wasn't being followed by a massive entourage.. the context would be different... more than that, if he then went to a bar with those guys and tried to convince them he was Obama, they would likely not believe him, because the paradigm had already been set... just sayin...

That's been my theory for some time... that the Massassii temple on Yavin IV is the secret staging ground of a commando group led by Luke...

 

honestly such a bogus thread. Speculation is fine as long as you call it speculation... but when you claim that it was from some secret source and fail to back up your claims with some evidence, I immediately see anything you say as false.

You guys need to put this into perspective. The fact is this nobody is going to officially confirm any of this so you need to treat everything here from everyone as rumor or speculation no matter how convinced otherwise. These are the possibilities below.
1) This is made up and the poster is lying.
2) This is complete fact but the source needs to be protected.
3) This is based on leaked concept art that is no longer valid or an accurate depiction of what is going to be on screen.
4) This is based on concept art that is accurate however may or may not accurately reflect the plot based on such art.
5) The art is complete bogus.
6) The person posting has unfettered access to the script but can not reveal why.
7) This can all be an elaborate misinformation campaign. Hell, Disney has a lot riding on this.
8) Your source is lying.
All of the above in any form is only rumor or speculation because it will never be confirmed until Dec 18, 2015. So when posting this stuff, tell people this is only information you have heard or believe to be true, matter how much you believe it to be true it is not fact until confirmed by an official source. So you can not confirm it it is not a fact and it could be bantha poodoo. Don't step on people who post this stuff because they may be right. Either way just have fun with it and never take it super serious. Vanity Fair said Adam Driver is the bad guy but we may have scene him in a Rebel uniform.
