New LEGO Leak: Snoke, Heavy Walkers, Resistance Bombers and More

wait wait wait.......Grey Luke?

 

The lego sets look incredible, but you mention Luke anywhere and my sense go off. I'm fascinated by this dark gray uniform. I really hope to see it tonight. And, interesting that Luke is in a set with Ren, perhaps lending credit to the possibility that Luke and his nephew will come into conflict. I look forward to more tonight!

 

What I love about the recent flood of leaks is that it can help put to rest the outcry that TLJ is an ESB remake.

 

Don't worry, they will still prove it... somehow.

 

Well you see, in ESB they had John Ratzenberger in a scene and in a scene on CB they say "Cheers" in the background so this is clearly the lowest form of fan service and a clear rip off of ESB

 

Is there some connection between the word "cheers" and John Ratzenberger that I don't know of?

 

Tv series Cheers from the 80's and 90's. Cliff was the name of Ratzenberg character. Excellent show.

Has anyone checked the leak for more? The user had suggested there would be more "tonight".

 

I've been checking frequently and there's still nothin'. I wonder if those users got shut down or something. I'd really rather not wait til the day they release to find out what the rest of the sets are.

 

That CM4SCI guy from Reddit said a day ago that maybe the factory worker getting these pics will post them today, if he/she hasn't been fired. I'd hate for someone to lose their job over something as trivial as Lego sets, but they might have spoilers for the new Star Wars movie. (Even though the more spoilery sets usually don't come out until after the movie, but whateves....)

Edit: I did a little digging and it seems that the set 75187 is going to be a large buildable BB-8. I've read that one of the six sets doesn't have any minifigures, there's already a brick built BB-8 rumor, and I had no other guesses as to what this set was going to be. If this proves to be true, I'll be kinda disappointed, because I only like the system, minifigure scale sets. I don't like the constraction figures, microfighters, and those kinds of things, so I guess that'll save me $90! Here are my updated predictions.

I don't think so, it looks very... strange for Star Wars to have this kind of transformation. It's not Power Rangers xD

When the news that Snoke is going to wear an elegant golden wardrobe came out, I started to think at him as a sort of "dark Pope". We don't know who the Knights of Ren are, but it's possible they are some kind of fanatics of the dark side, not necessarily Force users. Well, what if Snoke was the "main priest" of this group? It's safe to say that he perfectly knows how to use the Force, but he could have read it in a more "religious" way than the actual Sith.

A change of wardrobe may also mean a change of role in the FO politics. In TFA, Snoke seemed to be more a sort of patron, as the executive power seemed more in the hands of Hux. Well, it's possible that, after the destruction of Starkiller, Snoke is going to dismiss Hux from his role, and take the power directly in his hands, making the FO a more "dark-side-oriented" organization.

It's also to take in consideration that Hux is clearly eager to destroy the Resistance, so he may not be happy to get "fired" this way. It's clear that he hates Kylo Ren and the favour treatment Snoke tributes him, so he may also start a sort of civil war inside the FO, making the side in war actually three: Snoke and the Knights of Ren; the Resistance; Hux's FO.

My thoughts only, but I think Hux is a character to improve, not to take away. I liked him very much in TFA.

 

Agreed, I never thought they would get off that concern.

 

So it's possible that Snoke was the leader of whatever group Thrawn was warning about. So it's possible we find out that the Chiss Ascendency lost and the remaining members of the Empire were defeated and replaced by the First Order that serves as sort of a herald for Snoke's empire. Or if they want to be really interesting in Episode IX the Imperial Remnant and the Chiss Ascendency appear to help fight Snoke's empire. It could be done somehow haha

 

Interesting thoughts.The final destiny of Thrawn himself in the new canon novel is not clear, it is left open.
We know Thrawn is not in the Original trilogy, though it is just about after timeline in the novel. So he is killed after in some fight with rebels, or sent elswehere?

It is possible, considering Thrawn was imperial expert for the Unknown regions,and Palpatine's growing interest for the unknown regions,including that Threat, that Palpatine at the end send Imperial expedition corps led by Thrawn back to Unknown Regions. Yes this is not excluded., it will be great development.

I think it is not coincidence that Thrawn, who cames from Unknown Regions , is reintroduced in the canon in the times when the interest in New trilogy focusses to Unknown Regions, and Thrawn talks about his Chiss people been endangered out-there in unknown regions and offers assistance to Palpatine for mutual benefit.

 

Really I am deathly afraid Rebels will kill off Thrawn because I feel there is so much use for him and I don't want it to go to waste. The Bendu line in the S3 finale is what has me worried, why foreshadow his death if they won't show it in the show.
