Official Captain Phasma TLJ Thread

Whats that from because I was seriously pissed that those two and Admiral Statura didn't return. Star Wars was always great at making people interested in minor supporting characters like Wedge and Nien Nunb and Snap, Jess, and Statura were that for me in the ST.

 

Those actors were off doing bigger roles in other jobs than relatively wasting their time doing a bit role in Star Wars.


I don't mean that as disrespect but just how it is.

 

Captain Phasma was in TLJ?

 

I don't know what that's from that says other pilots were away on other missions. In TLJ, I believe it was when rey moved the rocks on crait someone said the survivors there were all that's left of the resistance. I guess that's vague enough it leaves a chance for snap and the others to return. I wish he could've salvaged mr bones enough to rebuild him, would've been cool in a movie. Entertaining character

 

Apparently the Battlefront 2 story dlc implied there was a small amount of resistance members away from D'Qar at the time of the evacuation.

 

Rian and Pablo confirmed Phasma lived btw, Rian said she was like Kenny from South Park.

Spoiler: deleted scene: Phasma’s lost badass “Sergio Leone” moment

Phasma originally had another badass moment. The scene took place chronologically after she battled Finn on Snoke’s ship, right after he smashes the hole in her helmet. A group of stormtroopers corner Finn and he tries to get them on his side, saying that they can join him and escape Phasma’s grasp, just like he has. Finn says that she’s really a coward who sold out the codes to Starkiller Base. He pleads with the First Order squad to escape with him. The stormtroopers all look at each other…and in a moment borrowed from a Sergio Leone western, Phasma pulls out her blaster and guns down all six or seven stormtroopers herself before they have any time to react. It felt like a tribute to a classic western shootout, but for whatever reason, it didn’t feel right in that moment of the movie.

 

Too bad that wasn't in the movie. That sounded like that would be an awesome scene.

That's heartbreaking if she had a kick-ass scene,and it got cut. I saw TLJ for the 2nd time last night,went with a friend this time. His biggest disappointment is how Phasma was just a joke in TLJ. I never got hype for Phasma but I understand why ppl did. My friend,who was looking forward for 2 years to see Phasma in Ep8, just couldn't believe how lame she was.

 

They could have used some of that ridiculous Finn and Rose time to give Phasma some gangster scenes.
I honestly think she was the most wasted character of all time, they said she will be the Boba Fett of this era.
The only think I saw that was even slightly similar was she died.... So disappointing.
