Official Finn Episode VIII thread

Do you guys have some mutant power to turn Jpegs from one layer into two, than see through the first layer? I have no idea where you see a lightsaber.

oh.... I'm blind. Did not even notice the light at the bottom and the gigantic jacket. So this is a leak?

 

I share your concerns. If Crait is the climatic battle of TLJ and we know that Finn will be piloting a speeder thing during that conflict then it is a risk that he will be fighting in the background against the Walkers while the final duel takes place within the base (Kylo is seen entering the base with some stormtroopers). Now granted it is possible that Finn dismounts his speeder and takes part in that but the healthy realist in me deems that unlikely.

Of course, previous Star Wars films have had lightsaber duels happening in parallel with a space battle or a large scale battle of some sort but the focus is the duel and I personally prefer melee combat to the star fighter combat (although capital ship battles were a spectacle that I hope to see repeated in the ST). So naturally I am worried that Finn peaks too early in TLJ (against Phasma) and he kind of fizzles out for the climatic moment of the film.

Interesting, where is this from?

Also lets not jump to hasty conclusions, that light could be from some weird poster effect or something. A lightsaber it is not likely to be.

Once again, I reiterate: they do not come from the IMAX standees! There is a different variation of these, for other, non-IMAX, cinemas, that are visible in my previous post.

 

Right, the Star Wars logo is no longer covering the area where Rey's lightsaber meets Finn's jacket.

So we get to see tiny images of Finn and Rose on the space horse.

This one. The one on the picture.

 

The IMAX standee had the goodguys and Darkside combined. Also the Star Wars logos were on the tips of Rey's lightsaber and then on Kylo's lightsaber.


Now for regular theaters, the standees are separated as shown in @Pawek_13 's pic.

So now the logos have moved. So we're able to see tiny pics of Rose and Finn on the space horse (where Big Rey's lightsaber tip meets Big Finn'S jacket)

You mean Finn and Rose on a Falthier? But we even saw their stunt doubles sitting on one during the Dubrovnik shoot...
