    It's possible that if it is indeed Luke Shown in the trailer, that he has more than one outfit in the movie(the one in the trailer being from the rumored flashback for instance).

    Either way, I absolutely love the new look shown today!

    I don't know... something just isn't working for me on several levels. It looks so... predictable? Its almost as if he went to a store and ordered the most generic Jedi costume you can buy. I don't know. Maybe its because I happen to be very sick today, but I guess I just need to grow into the idea of Luke looking that way.

    EDIT: Also he looks fat.

    Something different from your standard Jedi robes. I mean he really doesn't have to look like Obi Wan to fill an Obi Wan role.

    I won't down vote you for your opinion, but wow I so disagree with the bolded. In my mind that is the garb a Jedi is supposed to wear (not as an IU mandate, it just looks cool to me) and I love seeing Luke in it.

    I agree, i hoping for something more like maybe mixing something similar to his ESB outfit but darker and with a duster that has a hood.

    Just curious, but how long have you guys been sitting on this image? This picture would have been taken a long time ago during filming. Since it's not a finished movie still, I wonder why somebody chose this long to leak it.

    Although i like it, it wasn't the look I was expecting. I was expecting darker tones more like Anakin in ROTS. He definitely looks like an old wizard/Jedi master here. More so than even obi wan did. It almost like he has a "status" to him with those light colors.

    And I agree it doesn't look like Mark was hitting the gym before this picture. Not that it's a big deal.

    Wouldn't hologram effects still require a blue screen? This looks more like a photo shoot or 3D scan for toys or promo materials.

    He sure looks clean and ready to kick ass! Not a crazy disheveled hermit living in a cave.
