Yeah nothing to do with Rey .

 

Some other tidbits from Rey's Survival Guide you may be interested in:

• Rey has been a scavenger for as long as she can remember.
• She used to work for others when she was small and was able to work in small, confined spaces.
• Some of the scavengers (Ivano Troade and a female alien named Mashra, the latter whom she misses) she helped were kind; others unnamed thought she was their property.
• Rey was very young when she realized she was the best scavenger and struck out on her own.
• Unkar Plutt told the other scavengers to leave Rey alone and backed up his threat to them with the use of his thugs.
• Rey gained independence of being able to go where and when she wanted - but not real independence as Unkar controlled everything on Jakku - when she built her own speeder.

Interesting thing here that the production called him "clan LEADER", because in the Script is named as "a warrior" and in the novel a "hero"...So what we have from that character is:

A warrior who was an hero, "clan LEADER" and a Knight of Ren.

Could be that Kylo Ren has taken the leadership of the Knights of Ren by killing his leader by that time ("clan leader") And due that he novel refers to that character as "a hero" I've been thinking whether the KoR could've been an organization with a different agenda when Kylo was not in charge...

 

Or it's just Kylo and the KOR wiping out a rival clan/group that opposed them.

 

Honestly don't think any clans has a opposing status against the first order as for the action taken just Kylo's, his obsession with Luke has gone darkside overkill.

 

Maybe not NOW. But if it's a past vision, then that's a different story potentially.

 

If it was a clone, Rey would be a man.

i love this picture. their expressions are a study in opposites (contrary to their natures as they've been presented thus far).
anyone who says Rey doesn't have the potential to go Dark maybe isn't paying attention.

 

I definitely think that she has the potential, and her flirting with/being tempted by it is fine. They just shouldn't have her flat-out go dark, that'd be a mistake imo.

Siiiiigh. Is that it for the Rey Solo theory, then? I really wish someone officially could've come out and said that 3 months ago so I wouldn't go on having my hopes up. Now my emotional investment in the Rey vs Kylo dynamic is swiftly plummeting. :/

 

Ha! One theory shot down! Before seeing TFA I was absolutely sure she is Kylo's sister, but after seeing the film my opinion drastically changed. I had like still 2% left she might be, but after this confirmation by Daisy, nope, definitely not Solo. And good thing too. I believe the other most popular theory that she is Luke's daughter is also as wrong...We'll see...

 

I remember when Daisy posted a photo of her, Leia and Han on Instagram everybody said she spoiled and of course, if she put that it is because she wasn't Solo's girl.

And Hamill did the same with the daughter comment on Daisy so I guess she's not her daughter too.

 

Luke wasn't Vader's son within Star Wars (1977) either. I suspect word games are afoot as it doesn't make sense for her to answer the question "What was the hardest secret to keep" with "that I was not Han Solo's daughter". If that was the case, all these people could have said that a long time ago. Ridley might as well say the hardest secret to keep is that Rey's not a communist spy or a green furred dog. And she uses the past tense "wasn't" instead of the present "am not" or future "won't be".
