Kylo has been with snoke on the dark side for roughly 15 years. He was training with Luke before that. He shouldn't be losing to a self taught savant. How much saber training could she have had before she was dropped on Jakku. Either rey is stupid strong or kylo is the weak. I personally lean toward the latter.

If Rey is a Skywalker, and she probably is, she is stupid strong, yes. Remember that Anakin was using the Force to win pod races at the age of 8 and didn't even know it. There's also the probability that she'd had prior training before she was dropped off at Jakku. But most importantly there is the fact that she took Maz Kanata's advice. Maz told her to "let it in." To let the Force in. She did that and let it guide her actions, and she managed a narrow victory. It wasn't like she destroyed Kylo. She barely won. But she did it by letting the Force guide her.

Like you said, there's also the fact that Kylo was weak. Let's talk about how he was shot twice, once with Chewie's bowcaster which is a weapon that at close range throws people into the air. He was visibly shaken by that, he was emotionally shaken by having just killed his own father in cold blood, and we know he's a completely unstable person who has no real control over his actions. Then he tried to recruit Rey. He recognizes her power, he even mentions it when they are looking for her at Starkiller Base. I believe whole-heartedly that he knows who she is and I believe that she is a former student of Luke's. He knows that once she taps into the Force, once she awakens, she will recall that training and she will continue to grow in her ability.

We also know that the Force empowers people. It is powerful enough that a little green guy with a cane can levitate a spaceship out of a swamp. Yoda doesn't have 900 years of X-Wing Fighter levitation skills experience, he has 900 years of experience in being a conduit for the Force. Luke could have easily done the same, as Yoda instructed, but Luke failed to let the Force take over. He was a slow learner at first, but once he learned that a Jedi's power is not in the physical realm, he could do so much more.

Kylo is trying to control the Force while Rey is surrendering to it's power. So yeah, he absolutely should be losing to Rey. That's how the Force works.

luke fly's an xwing. He turns off his navigation computer and "uses the force" to pinpoint a perfect shot. - No qualms

Rey destroys sections of niima outpost, can barely get the falcon off the ground, starts hitting things left and right till she gets the hang of it = OMG MARY SUE GUYZ!

How much longer is this back and forth going to go? We can all point to sections in star wars that show the main hero doing things and they don't explain it beyond "the force".

You want answers - "The force works in mysterious ways". There you go.

back on topic- i saw TFA for the seventh time today and the end make me wonder if rey is actually going to train on Ach-to or if they go back to the massacre planet?

Winning pod races and defeating someone who's been trained in the force for probably close to 20 years are not nearly the same thing. Secondly rey was like 6 when she got left. How much training could she have had. Third, she absolutely WRECKS kylo. The first half of the fight is her running. After she let's it in kylo is on full retreat. She disarmed and scarred him. That's not a narrow victory. Kylo is just weak.
And why didn't he stop that bolt from chewie. Plenty of other people controlled the force as a tool and defeated their opponents. Palpatine, Maul, Vader, Dooku, Obi Wan so no that's not how the force works.

We're going to have to agree to disagree, then, because I believe your analysis to be way off the mark.

    Possible options for Rey,

Depending on who Del Toro's character is, he could be the one who lures Rey to the dark side.
Otherwise there is a small possibility she goes dark.

Rey could train briefly with Luke as they are in a rush to return to the resistance. I get the Rey Luke training for a couple years fantasy, but there was a sense of urgency to find Luke and the artifact, I believe Rey is there to retrieve Luke, not to train with him. Besides for all they know Kylo Ren and the FO are temporarily defeated, Rey defeated Kylo the only other known Force user being Snoke, so it's not imperative for Luke to train her, in fact he may refuse at first.

I speculate Rey and Luke return to the Resistence base relatively fast maybe after some heavy convincing from Rey (seeing as how Luke is probably aware of the FO's obsession with him and the chance that he is resurrecting a new Jedi order). So, I think at the base is where Rey is partially trained and not the planet Luke is seen on. That way while they figure the next move to keep Snoke and the FO from whatever Luke is protecting, Luke, Rey and Leia at the base can have a family moment.

I would like a Kyle katarn style arc for Finn and hope he has left by the time Rey and Luke arrive or is about to leave, (hopefully to self train in the force and learn more about his enigmatic past and why he is different from all the other FO troops.) Rey and Luke will end up facing off with Kylo, the KOR, and Del Toro, (I don't think we get a Snoke fight till 9), possibly, hopefully, with Finn joining in to even the scales, sensing Rey in trouble through their connection with the force. Maybe here Rey shows over confidence and for the first time ever is in need of someone saving her, which could end badly with her or Finn being captured again. Imagine if in ep. 9 they reprogram a now powered up FS Finn or convert Rey to the dark side with mandalorian KOR armor to battle their best friend and possible love interest, Finn could break the programming again or Rey could find redemption, but not without hurting Finn or Finn hurting Rey. Then the two could come together again this time United as Jedi to finish off the FO and the KOR. Also having one of the main heroes turning could push Luke closer to the edge, and/or Leia could also be on her way to the darkside after Kylo and Han, she could play a conflicted Palpatine like behind the scenes role moving forward, come to think of it she might be the one to dead Snoke. I could see a pissed off Darth Leia electrocuting Snoke with a powerful Force technique, if done right could be bad ass and emotional she is after all Vaders daughter.

Anyway the possibilities are endless for the future films, I hope they humanize Rey a little more let her show weakness and growth from it, I also hope they improve Finn and make him FS moving forward so he can be included in the main story line vs the Darkside force users( he needs a form of light saber redemption for his many fails in TFA). I like Poe and believe he will be our FS super pilot (something with that tree) that either is a sleeper for Kylo or a great light side character and important piece for the Resistence story line.

I need Kylo to be scary next movie. He should be focused. Quite and methodical. Laying there cut down by Rey should have altered his mental instability even more. He should be even more of a sociopath.

I like the idea of Del toro being a grey or dark Ezra and Snoke being the Grand Inquisitor, makes sense as to why they are the KOR and not Sith. Hopefully Phasma is more of a string puller then let on, would be cool if she was the Sith and was secretly training Finn, which is why she was so invested in Finn and why she cooperated so easily, destroying the FO might be the plan along.

If we look at all the crazy theories anyone could be true. Let's assume , she is a clone after all. Cloned from skywalkers hand like the old legends story. How does that change your view of the events of ep7 and where do you think she goes from here?

I hope she's ok. Hmm but she is most certainly a tough cookie. Lol. That's my girl. Not letting a injured arm bring her spirits down. Keep fighting the good fight, Rey. (blue)

You can build on that especially since Leia didn't train as a jedi.
