Maybe this my old theory was right.

    link- Case for Snoke

Pablo Hidalgo did pushed trough his own interest, his own created character as it seems.

"That all came out of conversations about what would have happened if the Nazis all went to Argentina but then started working together again? What could be born of that? Could The First Order exist as a group that actually admired The Empire? Could the work of The Empire be seen as unfulfilled? And could Vader be a martyr? Could there be a need to see through what didn't get done?"

I'm glad there was colour to his skin, I couldn't handle that grey hologram only description any longer.

"The name "Valorum" has been part of Star Wars since the earliest drafts of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. [...] The name Valorum was again used in a later draft, titled Adventures of the Starkiller, Episode I: The Star Wars. Although he did not physically appear in the story, Prince Espaa Valorum was the Master of the Sith and the ruler of the Galactic Empire on Alderaan."

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Finis_Valorum

A lot of unused concepts from the original trilogy are reused in new canon things: Starkiller was the first family name of Luke, Ralph Mcquarrie's unused designs are everywhere in the new canon, "Jedi-Bendu" was the first name of the Jedi...

NO. Just no. It's not Valorum! A damaged human? Sure? A previous character? Mmmmaybe... but no. The guy is a footnote. It wouldn't even make any sense.

Without intention to discourage anyone 's original ideas I recommend for read Canon novel Tarkin by James Luceno.

There one would find subtleties of Valorum bloodline which was engaged in struggle for polithical power against Tarkin family.

Chancelor Valorum has clear canonized family line -a polithics dinasty and he was final project of Valorums to get one of their own in to Chancelor position.

Classic polithical dinasty like Bush or Kennedy family.

Unfortunately there is no basis to support this theory and Valorums are to repeat well defined canonized old polithical dinasty.

I didn't say Snoke is Finis Valorum... but maybe Snoke is from the Valorum family.

The more I think about it... the more I think Snoke IS the Last Jedi.

Last Jedi from the old Order, escaping the Jedi Purge.

Boosk is a humanoid too, as is Unkar Plutt. 90% of SW aliens are humanoid.

Why talk about him being an alien at all? A little extra height? It just seems a really weird choice.

Its not that I dislike the look. Its that I dislike the look after 4 years of hyping the look and ending up with Snoke Goldmember after a failed stoma.

I never understood why people thought he wasn't a human. He's always looked like a disfigured man to me. I'm mean Emporer looked messed up, crazy eyes and messed up face and no one thought he was an alien.

Because they flatly said he isn't human. They as recently as May still had comments talking about him reptilian. There were reports of greenish skin until the recent round of leaks. He was described as 7 feet tall which is pretty rare.

    https://www.christiantoday.com/arti....leader.snoke.reptilian.concept.art/58511.htm

There were lots of comparisons to Ralph McQuarie's Imperious leader art for Battlestar Galactica.

They have sent tonnes of signals he is an alien.

Oh wait no just a tall guy with different scars than the last Emperor.

Honestly he looks great. But my disappointment is with the expectations they have cultivated or allowed to persist.

Maybe they were deliberately hiding the fact Snoke is human as he is related to Rey or Luke or both.

No I was wrong. He doesn't look great. I'm kinda bitter.

Has anyone asked PH if he is actually human why they lied about if he is? Or worse he's an alien and this slightly not human guy was the best they could do.

    http://www.slashfilm.com/is-snoke-human-and-the-last-jedi-story/

Now I am even more confused.

So Snoke not human . . . apparently. . . don't believe your lying eyes.

Why did Snoke need a puppet if a skinny talk guy could literally stand in for him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm pretty sure Snoke is not someone that we've previously seen. I do believe that his background is important, but I don't think it's because he's actually another character. Rather, I think his origins and his connection to some of the other characters is really what is important about him (and what could very well be the "big reveal" of this trilogy, because I don't think Rey's parentage will be overly surprising to anyone).

That being said, I did notice some physical similarities to Palpatine in the sense that he's old and disfigured, and Palpatine is the only character from the past I've even considered Snoke actually being revealed as (but again, I don't think it's true because there's NO way Palpatine survived). However, it's worth noting that he knew all about Luke and Vader long before it was publicly revealed that Luke and Leia were Vader's children in Bloodline. Snoke was tempting Ben from the very beginning, which leads me to believe that he's always known who Ben was, and in order to know that, he'd have to have some sort of connection to Luke, Vader, or Palpatine. I don't know how, but I just have a feeling that he knew one of them or has some insane Force abilities that previously were unheard of.

I found it funny when my daughters were discussing that they didn't understand why so many people have crazy theories about who Snoke is. They said "Snoke is just Snoke ". I chimed in and said that I agreed.

Ok, we have discussed a lot how Kylos scar moved 5mm but this is now ok? they aren't really at the same spot.
We also discussed originality and TFA introduced a ton of new characters just us the fanbase wants to link them back to previous characters, ironic.
Litterally ev3ery on was connected to old characters here Luke/Hux, Phasma/Tarkin, Lnado/Finn, Palpi/Rey/Kenobi ect.
