    I had a friends stuffing and it was just slightly spicy. They dice a jalapeño and add it to the celery and onions when they are sautéing. I tried it today and I’ll never make stuffing without it now. It’s not hot, but it has just a subtle spicy flavor that I like. Give it a try!

    Hey @NinjaRen and @RockyRoadHux I have heard from a coworker (she grew up in Germany and came to USA several years ago) that Germany is beautiful around Christmas time.....especially the small towns. Can you post some pix and also of the awesome food there too?

    I guess it depends much on the location and maybe sometimes even on the amount of Glühwein you've already consumed'. But I have seen some beautyful little towns.
    We have a nice 'medieval' chritmas market in our town, but I missed it. Because our whole family was sick that week.

    Been to the Christmas market last weekend at my old hometown, but did not take pictures by myself, neither of the surrounding nor the food, as we consumed mulled wine, roasted-candied almonds, buns with grilled pork ham, cracklings & Kraut, chocolate bananas, crêpes with Nutella, Poffertjes…

    I had a guy from Saigon with me – his first encounter with this kind of Christmas fair ever. I think it was quite an amazing experience for him.

    But here’s what it looked like (except for the snow unfortunately):
