    Oh, yes. I think probably some of my figures still have colored toothpicks jammed into the lightsaber hilts. My favorite toy hack, was those plastic capes never lasted long, and my mom made cloth capes to replace them. And yes, Testors model paint and cement were my Star Wars and GI Joe repair kit.

    NGL - Storm Shadow, Destro & Cobra Commander were OFTEN used as Vader's EXTRA Special Forces team for all Hoth Battle reenactments vs Snow Luke, Han Leia and the Rebel tards.

    Takin' me back! I loved the Mail-in offers! We thought we we so gangsta when we would send in for an extra one using my sister's name or a fake name. I got The Emperor as a mail-in too, but I can't remember what else... Maybe Zartan was a GI Joe one... Ooh, Sgt. Slaughter and Refrigerator Perry were mail-in.

    I also remember hearing in my 20s or so, at a toy collector's show, that there were some Boba Fetts WITH the working rocket that were actually sent out and at that time, mid 90s, there were like 3 or 4 on the collector's market and they were worth thousands then.

    Such a gratuitous scene! Jason Sudekis and Adam Palley made the dialogue so realistic, while still just over the top silly. Plus, they both have those voices that are so recognizable, yet I still had to look it up to see who it was. The best part to me is the payoff of Taika's IG-11 chokeslamming one of them and bending the speeder bikes rail around his head by punching him into it. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

    It was a classic case of audience fulfillment. A minute earlier we were all aghast that one of the troopers would----HIT Baby Yoda!!!! HOW DARE THE SOB?!?!?!?

    But Favreau turned around and gave us the smug satisfaction of watching that same dude get the "you-know-what" beaten out of him by IG-11. :) :) :) :) :)

    The guy really knows his audience and its' diversity. He really puts effort into reaching out to all types of viewers. This show is so enjoyable and accessible to anyone who wants to watch, from casual viewers that were pulled in by "Baby Yoda" to the hardcore Lore Dorks, like myself.
