    J.J. said we'd have a new trailer in "the fall," and he said it at Comic-con. For some people, that meant the middle of August. Fortunately words still have meaning because that didn't happen. But there is some leeway for what counts as "the fall." Autumn begins Sept. 20-something, so would it be after that? The beginning of school is tied to September (though many start in August) and in many universities in the US it's considered the "fall semester." So maybe anytime in September will work.

    We don't know. All we know is "the fall."

    The best possibility I can think of, and I have told this to many people, is that the new trailer will come out either at the very end of September or early October. It will not come out mid or late October because the TV campaign will have already started by the end of that month to help hype up the movie even more and it will not come come out on Force Friday due to the already popular recent news story of the 18 hour broadcast of unboxings and unveils of the new merchandise on the official SW YouTube channel starting September 2 and running through September 3 the next day. Force Friday and all of its merchandise will take up a week of hype before dying down in week two of the merchandising then we can expect a trailer in the weeks following that in week 4 or 5. Just my prediction, but JJ did say the trailer "will be coming in the fall". No specification on when but only time will tell.

    Yeah the toy release is next Friday, September 4th, "Force Friday." It's when Disney is starting their "Journey to The Force Awakens" campaign. Books, toys and other merch that ties in to TFA will be available to all \m/ \m/

    So... I just read somewhere on reddit that these guys got their information from Empire Magazine, and that the next issue being released on the 28th will confirm their claim for a trailer in September.

    Lol nope we don't talk about those things through text becuase he doesn't want to get fired or get sued. Those NDA's are serious biz. There were those who were fired during Celebration for attempting to leak things. So we don't text those type of things so there is no record. I have no issues with who wants to believe me and who doesn't, but it's the same source that gave me all the info on SDCC. Plus, he is kind of a busy man (VFX guys are pulling 12-14hrs a day in right now) and I'm not that friend who is gonna blow up his phone trying to get "insider" info. However, I'm gonna be out his way here in a few weeks and so I'm sure we will be sitting down for a beer or 2. I'm sure I will get more than enough info then.

    Not sure if it will get pushed up or not. They have a very strategic plan in how they are releasing things. It's not just about TFA, but Star Wars as a whole. They don't want things to be over shadowed.

    I could see them doing an ABC special with Rebels again and attaching the debut for the trailer to the ABC airing. I believe Rebels season 2 starts first week of OCT.

    More than 1 person (your friend) have seen the trailer for sure, so if he want to give you a review of the trailer and you post it then they cant trace it back to him + they will not only suspect your friend but multiple people. So when you see your friend face to face or talk to him on the phone (or what not) ask him about the trailer and write the whole thing down. There, problem solved and no one can prove anything.
