SPECULATION Who's in the BACTA tank??

not if they are killed off or few escape in the final season but I do hope to see at least one in the movie. It would a shame not to have a live action cameo. I have feeling that Ezra and Kanan will meet their doom. It would really be bad for continuity to have Ahsoka, Kanan and Ezra floating around in the OT with unanswered fates.

 

iF they have one of them meet Vader in R1 it would most likely be Ezra considering how "important" he allegedly is.

Agreed. I hope Ezra really is the Bridger in the gap of trilogies...pun intended! I just hope they make all of this as epic as possible.

 

I don't see how an article is confirmation. Show me a pic, or you're just speculating...

 

I remember while watching the original films as a kid, I was always intrigued/grossed out at the scenes where it showed Vader from behind in his meditation chamber and had his bald scarred up exposed. I would think this bacta tank is kind of a call back to those scenes. Plus, it makes sense his body would need some extra healing being attached to his bio suit all the time. In one of the books I didn't read, my friend tells me it talks about Vader trying to get used to his suit and having to change his fighting technique to accommodate his limitations with his artificial limbs. Maybe he needs to change out his bio-arms for greater mobility.

 

For all we know before Season 3, Maul is still on the loose. And with no love for the Empire and Sidious. So maybe he will finish Maul, but end up quite injured.

Yep, I thought of that Meditation Chamber scene in TESB where Admiral Piett gets a glimpse of Vader's scarred head.

 

One of my favorite things to do when I peruse this forum is to decode Astromech's posts! Do not trade out that iphone!!

 

...he also kneeled to Vader on Mustafar so maybe he does it to help revive Vader which could explain WHY he's kneeling as Vader was clinically "dead" when Palpatine found him so he kneeled down to revive him until they could get him back to Coruscant to become reconstructed.

 

If this story is true I have to admit I'm a little concerned... I got the impression that if Vader was in this film that we would see a Vader that is ruthless and unstoppable; I'm not sure that's what we are going to get if he's being worked on in the Bacta Tank.

 

Maybe we see both and this is the aftermath of some blown-out battle where he became extremely taxed and "DEfeated before those black troopers came in to help ...

 

I like that thought; I would be on board seeing that!

 

Yeah, like we see him be completely brutal but then he loses his lightsaber just like in AOTC and remembers "This weapon is your life!" and then calls in the special forces before he passes out (?)

 

That's my question as well; I don't think it's Palpatine...but that has me confused as well, because there shouldn't be another Sith around.

Why would Vader need to be in a bacta tank, though? If he could survive the events of the Vader Down arc virtually unscathed, which saw an entire Rebel garrison getting thrown at him, I'm at a loss to see how a single covert ops team could possibly do any better.
